Accra Tour shafts: Any love?

I'm looking for a low torque, smooth feeling shaft with an active tip section and the Accra Tour seems to fit the bill. The Accra Tour HF seems to be a hybrid shaft that would work for me as well. Anyone playing Accra?

Try the SC75. SC65 is much more responsive while the 75 has a very tight feel with hard smoove kick through impact.

You are astute in considering the HF.....they do have a similar flexure to the SC75 and play tighter than the Tour series.

Still I think SC75 is a superior shaft. Beyond commerciality, I play the Sc65 in driver and SC75 in 3 wood and haven't pulled the trigger on something new like Rombax or Diamana. Fo' real.

I've tried a LOT of shafts, including all the big boys--the Accra T70 has not only "worked" in every head that I put it in, it has been superior in length, feel and dispersion. You will not believe how straight it is. I like it so much, I'm getting the Tour HF to go in my 3 wood. First time in over 5 years that I haven't jacked around with any other shafts or have the desire to. Best of all, you can get them a lot cheaper than most high enders.

I also posted this in the R5 thread. I play an Accra T60 M5 (265 cpm) in my R5-N, 9.5*. As tmintx posted - it is a wonderful shaft. Very smooth, powerful, long, and has a wonderful "kick" to it. Love this shaft.

265??? That's the less than what Accra says the M4 specs out to.

Very smooth line of shafts! I play a SC65 in a driver and the Tour 70 in my threewood. That 3 wood has been in my bag longer than any other club by far. It is a go to confidence builder that just flat out performs.

More love for Accra shafts. Been playing T70's and T60's for a while. Just got the Tour HF's in two rescue and clubs and I absolutely love them. Tight, straight and long!!! Just aquired another R5 Tour in 10.5 and I think I am going to go with with the SC 65 as the T60 is getting a little loose these days. For tow torque, smoothness and active tips, I don't think you can do better for the money.

Just put the Accra T70 M4 in my new G5 9*. This shaft is REALLY smooth, more so than the NV or the UST V2. I'm a 2.5 handicap with a driver swing speed of about 107. I'm considering the same shaft in a new 3 wood as I think the Tour HF at 84 grams might be a bit stout for my 3 wood. With Accra, you won't be disappointed. Hope this helps.

Accra uses 7" fujikura clamp. Subtract approx 17cpm.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
