Any Bridgestone J33 users out there? FW and Driver

I have seen some great deals and reviews (on this site) on these clubs. Nice sound, nice feel, low trajectory, etc. Plus, I guess you can get them custom spec'd and even at full retail they are not super pricey. I am a 9 handicap. At the Bridgestone site they list these clubs for Professional and low handicap ametuers. Any experiences out there with regard to that topic? Also, how about the 3 wood? Same nice sound, feel? Easy off the deck and long off the tee? I have not demo'ed them yet but was curious to hear your thoughts. Thx!

I am playing a J33r 460 with the stock NV shaft in it. I cant tell you what it is with this combo but it works. I'm not a real big fan of the nv but it matches up very well in this club. I have read similar comments by others. I replaced a 9.5 mactec and also a 9* callaway 454 with a 10.5 j33 and get better ball flight and more distance. I have hit other 10 and 10.5 drivers (ping G2, cobra comp, callaway 454) but seem to hit them to high, not this bad boy, more like a 9.5 flight. It is also the first driver I can work right to left and left to right consistently when ever I want. Have not used the fairway wood yet, cant get my self to take my mactec 15* out of my bag. There are some real good reviews on here, check them out.

I have a 90 to 95 mph swing speed, I had the J33 460 9.5* Bridgestone with an NVS 65 R, great club. I changed to a 10.5* NV, even better . I changed the shaft to a GD YS-6 + R and it's perfect for me. This club has a mid to high ball flight and seems lower than comparable 10.5* drivers. Looks smaller than other 460cc drivers and very very solid, long and actually workable. Nice crack with slight metal sound at impact, hard to describe, not tinny or loud at all.

As for the fairway woods, these are even better than the driver in my opinion. Even more solid feel at impact, great looks, they sit very square.

I even have the 21* hybrid and the 4-PW J33 Combos. Great products that can be had for a lot less.

If you can spare the $ for the shaft, the ozik altus in that head is great. I visited Paul at sheverportgolfonline looking to get an ozik in my SQ Tour, but by the end of the day trying the J33/ozik setup, I decided to trade in the SQ at golfsmith and get the J33/ozik setup.

I just played my first round of the year today. Had the J33 460 10.5º in play. Absolutely loved it. I have mine paired to a UST V2 75 stiff at 44.5", D3.

This club just went straight for me all day. Nice little draws on command. The trajectory is quite flat and penetrating. I am not a real high ball hitter typically, but the flight was just perfect for me. Didn't seem too terribly low spin for me, as my shots did not appear to "knuckle" as some have reported.

The feel and sound at impact are indeed unique. It kinda reminds me of that "thwonk" sound that the Cally FT3 makes, but with a more metallic sound of course. Not overly loud, and very pleasing to the senses really. This shaft in this head was absolute money for me today. I hit every fairway with it and it was plenty long enough, despite the slightly shorter shaft. My buddy made a comment about how penetrating my ballflight was today compared to past drivers I've used. I really like the face of this driver. Very flat, -minimal bulge and roll.

I really couldn't have been any happier with the way this club performed today.

I played my J33 combos for the first time as well, and they were equally impressive.

First round of the year, all new clubs (except putter) and managed a 79 with two 7's on the card. I'll take it!

I have been playing the J33R 460 since december with an Accra T70. I think it plays true to loft with a very penetrating ballflight. The 420 version is definately a lowball hitter. I love the square face. I can work the ball both ways if I want.

I am not a low handicapper and have never been more consistent with any other driver. I mostly hit little draws with this club.

It works good with the NV, but for me it works even better with the Accra.

The fairrway woods are also great. If I wasn't so happy with my Sonartec NP99 I would have a J33 in the bag.

I play the J33 460 10.5 and the J33 fairway 15, each with the Fuji 757. I had played a Sonartec 3 wood for the last five years or so. The fairway club is real easy to hit off the deck and is long off the tee. The driver ,is the best I have used.
