I would also like to add that if you're just breaking 80 3 out of 4 rounds you should probably be playing the split cavities instead. But I'd let my ego get in the way of buying the right clubs too.

I'm not trying to be a total dick, but people like you irk the crap out of me. I work two jobs just to have a little extra money to play when I want and have a total of about $700.00 invested in my bag. I know plenty of guys with lots of money, but they don't feel the need to try and brag about it.

I don't think he's bragging, I think he's just happy about this clubs. And High roller is a bad title. You wanna see high holler bags, check out pure or golfjunkie or a few other guys.

If you have to money to spend on clubs, go for it. I think it's great. Our economy needs it. And I hate the high horse guys would found a Titleist 983k driver at a yard sale and claim to hit it 300 yards.

Now tell me about those cart girls

Hows it make you fell that I shot straight sub 80 rounds, 2 yrs ago with a bag that consisted of original orlimar trimetal irons, original adams tight lies wood and a 975d driver, with 1 wedge and a 20 dollar putter.

It dosnt matter the amount u have in ur bag, I have around what you do in your bag now and I dont shoot much beter then I did befor the change, but people see the bag and look at you diffrent when u come to the course thats for sure iv had quite a few people look at me like were did he get that shaft since it says pro tour only on it.

I kind of wish someone would post a high roller bag. No offense but that's not exactly anything special. You could've saved $500 and got it all on Ebay. I was hoping to see all tour issue woods with $3K worth of shafts, Miura's or Epon's, handmade wedges and a circle T instead of something anyone with a CC could walk into any golf shop in the US and buy. I don't have anything great after selling my Miura's. Stricker's old SW is the only thing special but it's kind of beat down now and I didn't pay anything for it anyway.

the best part is the 1-2-3 on there, do you move the pointer to indicate if it's your 1st, 2nd, or 3rd putt?

Having "DICK" stitched on your golf bag might give you that same little money spending tingle too....feel free

I couldnt help myself......the thought just flashed in my head and I HAD to post this just for laughs....in no way am I call the OP a four letter word of any kind....Golf is about enjoyment...whether its Gross scores, Net scores, putters, wedges, irons, drivers, bags or whatever....if it gives you the "juice" we are all looking for.....the better. After all, we are all perusing a website about a game played outdoors...go figure

I got you beat.

Bag - Knight stand bag, $20... A steal, although it's kind of plain, it's light as a feather and black, and I like it.

Driver - Adams Insight BUL 5000 9.5° w/ True Temper EI-70, Tour Velvet grip - $135... that's it. I got the parts, and had it built. The basic driver was $100 on clearence, the shaft I got for $10, and the work was another $20, plus $5 for the grip.

Woods - Adams Insight XTD A3 15° w/Aldilla DVS, Stock Adams grip - $80... That was just pure luck, a bulk closeout. I have been searching everywhere to find a matching 5 wood, but I can't find any for less than $150.

Irons - Tommy Armour 835 Silver Scot 3-PW, True Temper Tour Step, Perma-Wrap Jumbo - $135... Got them for cheap, and they're better than any modern irons, save for a few forged irons with narrow soles. No other club fits me better, small head, workable, forgiving enough, and a nice, narrow sole with low bounce.

Sand Wedge - Cleveland 588 53° 2 dot, Stock Cleveland Shaft, Tour Wrap - $20... You read that right, $20.

Lob Wedge - Cleveland CG-12 60° 2 dot, Dynamic Gold, Cleveland Tour Velvet - $60... Again, you read that right.

Putter for Fast Greens - TaylorMade TPA XIV, Golf Pride Crown Jumbo, 33" - $1.50... Again, that's correct, 1 dollar, 50 cents. The grip cost me 10 more dollars, but that putter was a steal. I almost got a Ping Anser II for $2.50, but someone got to it before me...

Putter for Slow Greens - Dynacraft DC-15 Milled 2-Tone, Winn AVS Jumbo, 32" - $3.00... Again, an absolute steal. The grip cost $15 more though.

Total - $469.50...

Having one set of clubs that fit me, regardless of price - Priceless

There are some people who don't need fancy equipment to play good golf, for everyone else, there's club ho'ing.

But don't ask me about instrument ho'ing, I spend more on one instrument than most people spend on 5 bags... :busted2: But that's my career too...

Add: Grip prices.
