First Titleist I Can Hit

Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience to this.

I have tried most, if not all Titleist driver models through the years and none of them rung a bell with me. I have hit the new 905R at a recent demo day, trying different model lofts, and shafts. All felt really good, with the UST Proforce V2 feeling the best. Most drivers I have hit in the past from Titleist felt clunky, like the thud sound made at impact. Distance never impressed me. This 905R really jumps off the face, and I've finally found a Titleist that feels so good, it may go in the bag soon.

Any comments?

because the 905R is first titleist driver that i CAN'T hit..ha

 

launch monitor gave me an awful results...

I hate launch monitors! I tried the 905R with the V2 shaft the other day, and my launch angle was anywhere from 10-11, which is a little low. Well, I took the same club to the range right after, and the launch was perfect, right above the trees and long. So, don't trust a machine before you buy. Go test it on the range.

That really is interesting. Guess it just follows that old adage that we're all made a liitle differently...whatever works to get it in the fairway is the "best" driver out there.

I had a 983K previously, in an 8.5*, and hit it a little low, but with quite a bit of spin. Now the launch and spin are perfect. I have the V2 in it, and find it strange that everyone said that felt too boardy. Feels great. And I heard several say that this was an "anti-left" driver. In my play, I've found just the opposite. I normally play a draw, and thats what this head does. Anywhere it goes, it goes long. Different strokes for different folks.

Not sure I'd agree with that . My results with the Vector monitor has been poor, results all over the place. I wouldn't trust anything it produced. Real results are proved on the course.
