New Titleist MB, CB and AP2 Iron PICS!!! Beware

Recommended Posts
anyone else think those blade look awfully similar to the previous lade offering from nike??? I think they are very similar looking have no idea how they would compare performance wise. Nice, very nice.
second that, the new blades do look strikingly familiar to the VR blades(other than the ridiculous graphics on the Vr's which I promptly acetone'd out), have to say it surprised me a little. Too bad I love my VR blades way too much to switch but titleist did a great job with these new ones, they look f**in amazing and I too had to keep wiping drool off my keyboard with all 3 irons, well done!

The irons will be available to order through Titleist Custom in whatever set configuration the buyer would like (i.e., any combination of AP1, AP2, CB, and MB).

There's no difference between last year's model with the year before that. No significant difference anyway. It's all about brand loyalty and maximum consumption. This is what this site does for the golfing industry. Thus the ad revenue.

Doesn't anyone understand basic economics?
I think most people are intelligent enough to understand economics 101. Your statement is practically stating the obvious. What irks some people here is that this thread isn't titled "Adam Smith's invisible hand theory" or "efficient market theory" or "new product development and pyschographic behavior among buyers" or "_______" insert whichever 101 class you took. Rather, this thread is about wiping the drool off the desk as I gawk over these beauts.
This is exactly what they, Titleist and Golfwrx, want. Gawk and drool over the new models. Create early product commitment. Buy it when it comes out.

Gawking and drooling leads to trying and testing, which leads to a credit card purchase.

The truth, however, is that these clubs won't help your game.

It's ok. Just buy them. Help the economy in the process. Everyone benefits. Except you.
Why are you even on here? You have obviously nothing to contribute so just let us enjoy the pictures and the new clubs if we want to.

The CB's look great...but there's nothing new here. They are redesigned 690 CB's. I think player's irons have reached their limit in design. The only thing that evolves is the mfg. process. I'm not saying I won't try them but it feels good not to have the urge to buy new irons.

Pictures are hard to tell. I mean if they can tell us that the bounce is 1 degree less then they should be able to tell us the top line has been reduced. Anybody that plays or has looked at the AP2 the top line from the 7 thru pw is just a little to thick. The reduced bounce and a thinner top line would be a nice improvement on a club that gets great reviews already.
