I pulled the Trigger on Srixon I302's!

Hey All,

I just pulled the trigger on a brand new set of Srixon I302's with Rifle 6.0's for $360. I am coming from playing MP37's DGS400 last season, to starting off this season with MP32's DGs300. Both were fantastic but being a low 80's shooter I could not justify blades or blade type irons.

I heard good things about Srixon and am really excited about these. What do you think?

As soon as I get them I will break them down, cut them to a 37.75" 5 iron, 1* flat and D4 swing Weight. I am also excited to try Rifle shafts for the first time.

Nice score, have only heard postive thinks from these irons. Looking for a set of Srixons myself. Did you win them on Ebay off 3balls.com? Just curious.

Yes, I said "new" becasue almost everything I buy from them that says "like new" comes with shrink wrapping and brand new. 3balls is the best, I have purchased so much from them.

Last night the same set sold for $450.

Congrats you gotta love 3balls "like new" description. I've bought a few "like new" clubs that had to be new.

Great deal Gio. The I-302's are great clubs. I think Webb used them to win on Sunday and I believe Allenby and Petrovic are still playing them.

302 are aweome. Thats what I am playing with. I switch over from the Hogan Apex Edge Pro, I gained about ten yards too. I also have the 6.0 and love the ball flight with them, as for on tour I think Petro might be the only guy left playing them, Webb and Allenby play the 404's from Japan, look alot like the 302's just the head is a little smaller.

I had them and liked them a lot. Didn't like the rifles though. I'd put some Nippon 1150s in them or something.

Regardless, nice score. They've held at that price for a while, b/c I paid $400 new two years ago.

Atleast I know I lost out on that bid to someone from here! Congrats on the new clubs, Hopefully I will get my hands on a set soon. I had a chance to hit them and dollar for dollar (Current Selling Prices) I think they are the best clubs I have hit!

Congrats on the Srixon I 302s. I used those last year and shot my best round of golf with them, mine had Rifle 5.0. I should have never sold them. Forgiveness, accuracy, traditional design, forged feel, great bargains around!
