MP-60's vs. J33 CB (Cavity Backs)

Anyone try the two yet??? Opinions needed.
I cuurently have the MP-60's and thinkng of getting a set of the J33's CB's. I like the look of the Bridgestone J33 CB's but wanted to know how they "FEEL" compared to the Mizuno's.

1. Which irons have a softer feel at impact? (The Mizuno's use 1035 Carbon steel & Bridgestones use 1020 which is belived to be softer, but I have heard that Mizuno's forging process is superior so it results in a soft forging than others)

2. Which irons are more forgiving on off center shots?

3. Which set has higher trajectory?

4. Which set has a better grind? ( I tend to be a picker of the ball and do not take large divots)

Other opinions welcome.

Thanks

i haven't hit the j33s and the only time i hit the 60s i hit horribly but im sure that the 60s are more forgiving and i have also heard past topics saying that they weren't the most forgiving cbs out there and on an absolutely perfect shot with the bstones it might be softer but the 60s might be what you're looking for

I have hit both quite a bit. I have the CB's and my Dad has the 60's. Ballflight is higher with the 60's. The flight on the J33's was lower than most CB's I have tried. The forgiveness seems about the same to me with both irons. Both are pretty forgiving for a player CB IMO. Both clubs feel great, no preference here, but I'm of the theory that a purely struck golf shot feels good no matter the club, and a sh!tty shot, well it's probably gonna feel sh!tty...so I'm sure opinions will vary on feel between the two. Both are great clubs but I much prefer the look of the J33 over the 60's. The 60's are classic Mizuno, unfortunately complete with their patented chunky looking short irons. The J33's have much cleaner lines and the size is perfect. They appear to be a tad smaller and more compact than the 60's with less offset and the set flows very nicely. The short irons look very good in this set. Of course this is all JMO.

... exactly! agree with everything you said reagrd ing the j33 cb's and mp 60's.

one thing to add ... i'm a picker too, and my cb's work beautifully. they are great off thin lies, thick lies and out of rough.

Would agree with Teebonz's assessment too. My club pro has a set of demo J33cb and I've used it for 2 rounds. First round was decent or so-so but in my 2nd round yesterday(9 holer), they were very impressive. They seem to have more boring ballflight than MP60's that I found much easier to get the ball up.
