I'm gonna be honest, mine is around 100. Looks like some of you have speeds averaging much more than tour players, but if it makes you feel good to write that kind of stuff on here, go ahead. I don't mean to bash anyone, but unless your hitting it all over the place, you should be ruling the jr. golf world. Anyways, good luck

ahh that would be assuming that driving is the only thing in the game my good man. nothing to say that some of us...who are as large and some are taller than most tour pros dont swing faster, the difference is in their shortgame and their ability to hit it close every time, not in their driving alone. distance is not everything. and welcome to the forum, might wanna give it some more time b4 making comments such as those though. and some of us are going to play college golf. :stop:

Oh sorry Cameron Circle T. I'm sure you'll do just fine at college golf, but some of us already have played college golf, so I may not be as naive as you think. I'm not trying to down your speed or say that you can't swing that hard, all I'm saying is that most people don't average 122 mph swing speeds even if they are going to play college golf(like that has anything to do with it). I shouldn't have even said anything, next time I'll just keep my thoughts to myself. Good luck in your future ventures and keep swinging hard! :stop:

no worries, you are certainly free to express your opinion just sharing that you might wanna give it time b4 you started making comments like that. and more ppl avg. that than you might think these days especially with arm spans well over 6 ft. physics is a great thing for golf.

yeah, Ole Miss. I played my freshman year, but quit so I could focuse more on school. I finally realized that unless you were one of the .00001% of people who have a chance to play pro, you might as well get decent grades so you can live a decent life one day.

Was 2 years ago though and since have dropped my handicap 7 strokes but am swinging much more controlled now and have also dropped a club in distance. So down goes the swing speed I guess.

 

EDIT: Just got measured again, 116. I figure my distance drop with irons is just from hitting more 3/4 shots, but my woods are longer than they used to be.

I average about 240 yards, think it was something like 92 mph's but not sure. Using v2 65 reg

I did the same thing where I quit after my sophomore year for the same reasons. Except I had to transfer because I went to a school that had nothing that interested me whatsoever outside of golf.

95 if I do my normal swing, 100+ if I hit it really, really hard but that makes me :stop:

The shaft is whatever one is in a G2, I want to switch it out for a pink one!!!

Felt good today for the first time in about a week, so I got measured accurately. 115 at my 90% Aldila NV 75 stiff. Extra grams and torque to keep my ball in the fairway.

Around 100, give or take a few either way. Fuji Vista Tour 60 Stiff. I was actually swinging around 105-110 at the end of last year, but for some reason, maybe lifting weights all winter, has gotten me down to 100 or below.

I got measured again this weekend and I spec'd out at 108MPH average, and then maxed at 111MPH while keeping it on two feet!
