good stuff. 8" tip, thats impresive. i'm interested in trying this shaft and not becuase of tiger or bubba, but it sounds good, especially for a sq tour

I use to use a bimatrix shaft in an old TM driver. Loved it. Not sure why I don't use any more. Was excellent for fairway woods as well.

The website still refers to it as a "prototype", so until that label gets dropped, I doubt its available for sale to the general public. But with the connections the people on this board have . . . you never know.

 

As for the Bimatrix technology in general, I give it a thumbs up. I really like the Bimatrix in my driver (old model while still under True Temper label). Gives a good sense of feel and control, and I snagged it very cheap off ebay last summer.

I had a bimatrx RXi in my R540XD, and although very accurate, the launch angle was a killer. I think if I had a 7.5* head vs. my 9.5* the combo wold have been great, but the XD just spins to much. I would further test this shaft out as i have 10 of them, but they are .350" tip and I am currently playing a .335" tip driver.

 

I may try and find a super low loft R7 and tes this sucker out some more.

i had a customer that wasnt a great golfer, except for the woods, he always used the bimatrix stuff, and he loved it, didnt swing hard but he kept it straight. i want to try one in a 905R, but i dont know where i can...
