Need opinions about Srixon I-302

Have been cosidering several: X-Tours, 735, FTX, and MP60. Intrigued b

Please give me in depth opinions on the Srixon 302's in relation to the other clubs I have mentioned.

Would like to get info on feel, performance, playability, forgivness, etc.

By the way, I am a 10 to 11 hcp. that is looking for that majic club that is the perfect blend of traditional, playable, and forgiving.

Well Srixon i-302 can briefly hold the title as only irons to win a major in 2006!

Thats right, Karrie Webb won using em.

While I am going to put a set of mp-60 in the bag (I am a Mizuno Ho),

The Srixon were my main irons for last year and half of previous. They got my cap ddown from a 10.4-6.4 over last year and they were a pleasure to hit. They are unique in that they tell you your mishits then let you scatch your head going how did that still make the green kin do of forgiveness.

Workable. Only weakness for me was out of wet rough. I suspect not too many clubs are good at that and one shouldnt be playing when its wet like that, let alone hitting it into the rough in the first place LOL

very very solid sticks. played them for about 3/4 of last year and have played many other 'players cavities' and have often longed to go back to the i-302's. they are a perfect blend of forged irons with enough forgiveness for those mis-hits. stock rifle shafts also got a thumbs up from me....extremely underrated irons

Well i just played 9 holes with the I302's with rifle 6.0's today, and I am more than impressed. They feel extremely solid, and smooth, soft but plenty of feedback. Distance wise they are long, I was hitting them about 1/2" club longer than my MP37's. Trajectory was sweet 6-Pw would rise up and flatten out, I thought it was going to balloon, but the ball just kept on going, and it was windy today. Very forgiving coming from a blade and the MP32's.

The sole grind is awsome, it has leading and trailing edge grind that makes this iron playable in all types of conditions. Looks, well it just sets up so nice, with hardly any offset, and the satin finnish does not reflect much in the sun.

Overall I am very please and would have to say they are the best feeling, forged cavity back out there for me. I have played the TM300's, MP60's, TM TP CB's, and CG'2s, but the I302's take the cake.

This iron will be in my bag for a long time.
