Just had my first Vector fitting. Here are the results

Looking for suggestions..

Attached is the print out of my first vector fitting with the driver. I'm curious to see what you guys have to say about it.

I'm currently on the 975D with a Proforce 75 X and looking to replace the driver. Seems from the data the 905R and the SQ Tour are my better options.

It seems that 9.5 might be the right clubhead for me based on my ball speeds? I was thinking 8.5 before coming into this but apparently going lower will create too little ball spin. True? He said I was on the cusp of an extra stiff shaft. True? I think outside on a warm day, that would probably be the case for me.

I will say that I wasn't warmed up and seemed cramped a little in the space that had the machine. Plus they had me tee the ball much higher than I have before. That took a little adjusting too.

Regardless, I went in with an open mind and I think it's neat to set the data print out of how I swing.

It was fun.

I would agree from your numbers your lookin at the R or the Sq, however, I would work on the swing before I went out to purchase a new driver. You had very inconsistent sidespin number causing you to hit them all over the place. The driver that actually seemed to reduce that was the Comp. It's time for new technology undoubtedly but with a lil more consistency in the swing and face angle, and sidespin numbers it would be much more accurate and worthwhile a fitting. Not criticizing you just trying to help you do whats best in the situation. An extra stiff shaft might also allow you to bring your dispersion under control but depending on your tempo could cost you a little bit of distance. Good luck in your decision, I would definitely suggest hitting your choice outside b4 you purchase it.

I completely agree about the swing. It's inconsistent and needs some work.

 

I started up another set of lessons with my local pro whom I've had lessons with before. I definitely have some time at the range in my near future to get things consistent and the lessons can only help.

Once you feel you get your swing to a more consistent point I would definitely avail yourself of the opportunity to use the vector. Then you will be able to really help yourself by getting fit for the driver. Good luck and keep workin at it.

The "Offline" section of this Vector report shows posive and negative numbers.

 

Do the positive numbers show ball flight to the golfers left and negative shows how much right the ball goes off the center line ?

+ numbers mean a hook/draw

 

- numbers mean a slice/fade

 

 

That's how they explained it to me.
