Hit the 906F and the 585U today

All I can say is wow!

I had the opporunity to hit both the 906F and the 585U today and in my opinion they are amazing, it's no wonder there is such a presence on tour. I hit the 906F with the UST V2 and it felt really, really solid. The 585 I hit a 19 degree with an X-100 and a 17 degree with the V2 and it was definetly the best hybrid I have ever hit. I really like the matte black finish on the top of the heads but the rep told me that the retail versions are going to have a more shiny black finish because the matte finish doesn't hold up very well. I'm kind of amazed because from the pics I saw of the 585 I didn't really think I would like it lived up to it's expectations. If you have any questions just ask.

yeah id love to know the release date....also does the 906 look anything like the currrent 904??

I'm not sure on the release date, he didn't mention anything. The new 906 actually looks pretty similar to the 904 but it's got a little deeper face and sits a little squarer. The finish on the 906 is dark matte black finish, or at least in the proto versions. I wish they would keep that finish but they're going to make is a shiny finish like the 904 for the retail version, not sure how dark.

oooo i wish it were the dark black too, i think the 585-h looks so much tidier than the 503u, the feel and performance will still be top class howerever the black is so much more pleasent to look down at! :stop:
