Draw vs. Fade

After spending some signifigant time with my new 905r I have noticed that it is a lot easier to hit a draw with this club rather then a fade, im wondering if anyone else has had the same results, im a little surprised to be honest but it is probably why i have gained 8-10 yards over my old R7.

My driver is a 8.5 905R with the V275 x stiff shaft.

I have had just the opposite happen to me. I did play a 983K, I usually hit a nice smooth draw with it. My 905R (Only 2 rounds played) and I am hitting a slight fade with it. Could just be my swing and early in the year. The good news is that I am hitting the 905R about 10-15 yards further than my 983K. Played in a scramble today and with a 280 yd drive with the 905R and a 75 yard knock down 56* spin milled, I made eagle for our team to win the only skin and $600.00. My new equipment paid for itself already!

You might be hitting a fade because your still adjusting coming from the 365cc K to the 460cc R

That makes sense, it is a little harder turning over and getting the bigger head to release. Once I can do that I should also add a little more distance.

Same results for me. I started only hitting fades now I'm starting to get the feel of releasing the club better and getting better results.

Mine is fading a bit more than drawing riht now but I can groove a draw on the range. I need to practice a bit more with it but I know draws are in my future.

I am finding that I can draw this thing a little easier than my old T, but that may be due to the shaft (V2) than anything else.

 

However, for the record, I can fade this thing like nobody's business!!!!
