Rhodes Ranch or Tuscany in Las Vegas ?

Which would you play and why?

Hi I am visiting Las Vegas in 2 weeks and have the option to play one of these courses at a very reduced rate. Which course would you play and why? Which is the most challenging and in best condition? Your thoughts would be appreciated!

I have played Rhodes Ranch a few years ago and Tuscany just last year after it opened. Rhodes Ranch is a fair and mature course but nothing memorable compared to most Vegas courses. Rhodes Ranch is surrounded by many houses and has a closed feel to it. Tuscany is a newer course and still a little immature but definately has a better layout and better views. Tuscany still does not have a clubhouse and some home construction going on in the area. My choice would be Tuscany if I had to choose only between the two. Have fun!

I played Tuscany last fall and from what I remember it wasn't anything special. In fact the entire course was dead from lack of watering, probably because they were going to reseed soon and didn't want to spend the money on the water. The clubhouse is still a temporary building but I don't really care about that. I believe it was only $25 when we played but I'm local and they may have been running a special at the time. I don't have any experience with Rhodes Ranch but I would call both places and ask about the conditions. I know some of the courses are airiating and reseeding now for the summer.
