Money no object, and why?

Which one would you pick and why?

I would take Pine Valley. #1 course in the world, also one of the hardest course in the world.

Just imagine the Masters or a US Open at Pine Valley.

Even Jack Nicklaus had a hard time at Pine Valley, and shot 78.

Arnold Palmer shot 68 there.

Philly Mick shot 72 at PV.

But, nothing will top the beauty and history of Augusta National..

I will take Augusta for the reasons you mentioned - beauty and history. I feel like i could read every break out there without seeing the putt just because i know the course so well from watching the tv coverage over the yeras. I don't know how I am ever going to be able to get on augusta, but I have a family friend who is a member at pv, so I will probably be able to play there some day.

That being said my pick right now would have to be Augusta.

I would have to go with Augusta. For as long as I can remember the Masters has meant the beginning of spring for me, and the Masters means Augusta National. While Pine Valley is an awesome course, it doesn't have the same lore for me as Augusta.

i guess i would go with augusta. its a tough decision, but the history and tradition of augusta gives it the edge.

Put me down for Augusta. Pine Valley would be great, but I'd rather be able to recreate some of the game's historic shots from the Masters than play a course where Nicklaus shot a 78...

Pine Valley!

My father in law has played both among many others I never will be able to play and he says Pine Valley is the best/hardest course he has ever played.

He says a course named Wolf Run outside Indianapolis is the top course no one has ever heard of.

Well, I've played PV and haven't played Augusta. If I had the choice, I think I'd probably be heading for Philly.

PV is so outstanding, nowhere else could be as good. It is perfection already.

played both. pine valley for pure golf. augusta for the lore and tradition but foe pure golf and relaxation pine valley.

MAN TALK ABOUT A TOUGH CHOICE!!!! I would have to play augusta for the history and ambience,but a few friends of mine have played pine valley and said there is no other course quite like it.It's such a shame they can't play some type of made for tv event,or bring shells wonderfull world of gold back to pine valley with a contemporary rivalry,like phil vs tiger

Depends on what your looking for. Pine Valley...good ole fun with average Joe type golfers from Philly and NJ for the most part. Down to earth guys and laugh until you cry antics on the course. Augusta is 180* different. You can't even fart without someone breathing down your neck. Don't get me wrong if Augusta were to phone me to ask meto join, I'd do it in a heart beat. It's just Augusta is a different crowd than Pine Valley.
