Titleist 905R with Diamana Red 73X. Worth every penny of $700!!!

For me, heads are fairly interchangeable as long as they are square face.

 

In da bag are two:

 

Nakashima NP1 460cc 10.5*, cottoned to 203g, Accra Tour 70 tipped exactly to my flex (trade secret), Balance Certified #2.

 

Bridgestone J33R 460cc 9.5*, 206g, Accra SC65 tipped, Balance Certified #2.

 

Nailing the shaft flex and characteristics is the biggest challenge. The backweighting has helped with consistency. Incremental improvements really do add up.

 

 

If I can't hit either of these, it's strictly due to L.O.F.T. Werd.

Boy I have to agree with you 100%. I have a red board 83X in my 905R 9.5° and LOVE it. Feels awesome, launches about 1° higher than the blue board for me and adds a barely negligable amount of spin(<100 rpm). I'm having the 73X installed in another 905R to see what happens with 10 grams less. I want to add that I also have an 83X in a 15° and 17° and it is also an incredible FW metal shaft. At least that's my story today...
