Straightest and Most Forgiving Hybrid

Which hybrid do you this is the easiet to hit and just wants to go straight.

Mizuno Fli-Hi II (the iron shaped one, not the CLK), not as long as the wood shaped hybrids but it's as easy to hit straight and high as a short iron. It's lie adjustable and Mizuno can build it with a steel shaft to match your current irons. It's the easiest club to hit in my entire bag.

I really like the Cobra Baffler ( I use 2). It is a nice club that is pretty darn straight. I also like the Cleveland Halo. A lot of poeple like the TM Rescue.

I second for baffler. The misshot just goes shorter, not wilder.

tm rescue dual has been very good to me, both 19* and 14*. also, the nike pro combo utility is very easy and very consistent, but more iron like than wood like.

I'm a Cleveland guy. I like the HALO, but also like Tour Edge hybrid too. Anytime you can shove 120 grams of weight in the back of a hybrid is a good deal for anyone. Looks funny, but flies high and far.

Try the Ping G5 hybrids. They are long, straight and very forgiving. I have the 19* and 22* and I hit a ton of par 5 and long par 4 greens with these hybrids. They hit a high ball flight but very boring trajectory in my opinion.

Sonartec MD 21* with Proforce V2 Hybrid X shaft. So far, extremely straight and average distance is 220 yds. This is what I wanted to replace my 3 iron, and its been great so far.

I own and have hit alot of different hybrids.

 

I think they are ALL easy to hit and straight, that's their intended purpose.

 

To me , they all play the same way, they make it easy to get the ball in the air, they are all very accurate, and all are comparable in distance.

 

It comes down to what YOU like the best, in look, feel and workability.

 

I can't think of one BAD hybrid out there, other than the 503H, not as easy to play as the others.

 

Halo, Heavenwood, FT Hybrid, Baffler, Rescue etc. are all great clubs, i don't think you lose anything using any of them.

Ft hybrid 23* is a great club. It has resurrected my golf game. You can work this club, like know body's business!!!! Great in tight lies and even better off the deck. You can not go wrong with it. Second would have to be the Baffler. I hate the headcover though.

I tried the Rescue TP, the G5, FT and settled on the Sonartec MD. WHAT A CLUB!! Unbelievable results. I hit the TP waaay to high to be useful. The offset on the G5 had me hooking the ball too much. The FT was disappointing to me but the MD backs up the hype. I was messing around on the range today hitting it off of hardpan for fun. Not really expecting too much, I couldn't believe the results were the same as hitting it off lush fairways. I am a strong long iron player but I know I can't hit my 3 iron thsat well off hardpan. This thing is amazing. I got a 17* with iRod to fill the gap between my strong 3 wood and 3 iron. You just have to hit one to see for yourself.

I love my Md club and it is very controllable with a nice ball flight. Once you adjust to how it likes to be hit, it is a weapon. I just dont think it is as forgiving or easy to hit as some others. Still easier than the 2i it replaced

I LOVE my J33 Utility, very straight, fairly forgiving, and long. Not to mention a super solid feel and sound.

I have a Irod Tour 100 in mine and it's awesome.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder my friend. What works for someone may not work as well for you. But then again, I see where John is coming from, hybrids are created to be easy to hit. Granted, some may work better than others, but if you are having problems with hybrids, look into some higher lofted fairway woods.
