golf lesson ?

Will there be a diiference to get a golf lesson from a PGA vs Non PGA instructor.

 

There is so much difference in their rate but just want to have your thoughts on where to get o golf lesson.

 

i have tried ones but for 45 minutes the instructor just showed me some pics and do some drills.

 

I have been playing for a while already, i just want to have a comfortable and consisitent swing because there are occasions a hit well but i don't know what i did, and there are still times that i swing really bad and i don't know what i did...

 

i also want to learn how to swing well with my 3 wood.

 

I am in bayonne nj , anyone who knows where i can get a good golf lesson nearby

Make sure you get your feelings across to the person. I woulndt go to anyone else except a PGA certified professional.

 

If you just want advice and dont want him to try and change your entire golf swing make sure to tell him that.

Go to a PGA Professional if you want to be sure you are comunicating with someone who may actually have some insight into the golf swing.

 

 

 

Anyone else is not commited enough to actually become a golf pro. IMO

You can get a great lesson from a coach who is not a PGA member. There a lots of great teachers who have trained under Leadbetter, McLean, Harmon, Ballard who are not PGA members. There are also several top 100 teachers who are not PGA members. In my opinion it is much more important to have been trained by a great teacher. I am not in any way try to bash the PGA . In my opinion just going through the PGA progam does not make you a good teacher, and has nothing to do with being commited or not.
