Callaway ft-3 Tour or TEE Driver

What would you get and why??

Just Looking at trying a new driver and these are the two I am considering.

What are thoughts and which should I try!

Easily FT-3. Why? More forgiving, longer and straighter than anything else I tried. I was picking up a few items at the local Edwin Watts yesterday and asked my my friend who works there if they have been seeling more FT-3's this week. He told me that they have been selling well all along because they routinely get better launch numbers for the FT-3 than any other driver. Which leads me to advise YOU to get on a monitor or on a range before buying any driver.

i have not hit the TEE, but the FT-3 is what i'm currently playing and it's an absolute CANNON!

i bomb the ft-3 yet i hit a 8.5 TEE and it made the ball look dead in the air only carryed 200 yards and started perfect then bascly dived guess not enogh spin

I'd take a ft3 asap. great club even if it does sound horrible.

Another vote for the FT-3 Tour, such a solid feel. Absolutely bombs it out there.

Asking for others advice is fine ,I do it all the time.But you know opinions are like ##s###es,everybody has one and sometimes there one in the same.Whats good for one guy may not be right for you.If you are going back and for between two drivers you have done a good job narrowing down. At $300.00+ I would go hit them side by side.Im sure you will find the correct answer for you.Good luck.

I dont believe there is a 100 yard difference between those 2 drivers. I have hit both of these out on the course and while i couldnt tell much about distance difference I could tell the Exotics had a very tight dispersion rate and a little bit better sound. Both have a very good size for a 460 head and i def think they are 2 of the most innovative drivers out.

I see your post says the FT-3 is on it's way. You can't go wrong with either driver IMHO.

Yep FT-3 is a weapon!

but you should try a few different drivers & shafts and find what combination works for you.

Skip the TEE and buy two FT-3s. :golfer:

im the friend logan was talking i dont think i was hitting it 320 but i did hit the TEE 200 yards look at my first post

Thanks guys, for all your help and recommendations. Im just going to have to see myself this weekend. have also organised a LM so I can dial in a shaft.

 

Let's hope I can start enjoying a 460cc head as there has been no joy so far! Still loving the J33p Tour though.
