You Did It!

After that most excruciationg loss at the Kraft Nabisco major, Srta. Ochoa shows her will and determination, coming right back the next week, and winning the Takefuji Classic in Las Vegas. She quietly goes about her stated goal of wanting to achieve number one status in the world rankings, gladly watching as all attention is heaped upon the newly arrived youth corp on Tour. She continues to exude class, making her the true champion she really is.
Way to go Lorena!

I was pulling for her big time, after the close calls that she had earlier this year. She did it... she sealed the deal , and did so with an exclamation point :)

I was really pulling for her too. To finish with a birdie was awesome. In the interview afterwards she said she went for it to learn to deal with the pressure. Lorena has the ability to go really low with her agressive play. If she drops a few more clutch putts she will give Annika a serious run for her money. This could be a very big year for her.

Man, can she play. Very enjoyable to watch. She looks tiny, too. Amazing that she gets it out there so far. I was glad to see her win this week.

Golfdog... she is tiny! It reaffirms when I watch her swing that you don't have to swing hard. Just get the club in all the right positions, and swing smoothly like she does! She's the best... so fan friendly too.

For a small person, her swing seems to produce a LOT of clubhead speed... she gives it some zip, that's for sure... and I love to watch her hit tee shots and finish her swing with her "two tap recoil." It shows how much energy she released on the swing, but yes, she certainly swings smoothly :golfer:

You've noticed that little recoil move, huh? Good observation! I love when she does that. It looks like she's trying to help move the ball where she wants it to go.

And you gotta love her head move on the downswing to help get it into position so she stays behind the ball at impact. I love to watch her play. She can "stripe it"!

My husband is always amazed every time he watches her play. He always comments on how tiny she is, but how fast her clubhead speed is and how far she she can drive the ball. I love her swing...it's so smooth and controlled.

I'm REALLY hoping that my sister decides to take up the game... she has a little different body build than Lorena, but dang, if you're going to try to emulate a swing for both power and accuracy, that just might be it... (cool)
