Red, I hope you're basing that call on alot more than just that photo, otherwise you've got better eyes than me. :)

 

As far as I know, it is the same Precept she has been using, they just made a coloured batch for her.

I agree with KKHere. I personally think she's trying to cash in on some type of endorsement deal. Has she played a pink ball when she was an amateur, I guess not, then why now? Why is it so important for her to do it now? Will it improve her game? I doubt it.

Maybe we still have to remind ourselves that she is only 19!! The girl is still only a teenager, this could be just a phase for her and not just some endorsement deal. It's not like she is 28 and doing this out of nowhere, she is 19 and just graduated high school not too long ago. Let's cut her some slack.

I think it's great and personally I hope she continues. Her pink ball is no different than the black nike's that were put into play. All she's doing is adding color and flare to the game, which is all good by me :)

hi all:i have seen pics off her pink golf balls and yes she is still with precept.her golf balls being pink is just part of her style and who knows she may get tired of pink and go back to the white ones.use what you like and be happy. :) :cheesy:

I think I'd be a little distracted by a pink ball, but thats just me. Having followed Creamer at the Sybase last year, she has the game to play with anything.

My friend is the Precept rep and he gave me a sleeve to play last week, and they are pretty good. According to him the ball is inbetween the B330 and the B330S. It looks odd but the thing really spins, also the balls were number 58s. She thinks she is going to post that number someday

Hmmmm. More and more this ball seems to be an iteration of the X01s. Can you post specs (dimple count, tech, etc to compare)?

The new TS player's ball is out V10. I have a sleeve to try next weekend if it can finally knock the X01 out.

 

 

I just checked myself. The only ball that was in last years Tourstage line up that has 330 dimples, the same core, same cover and is a "player's" ball is the X01H. I've always found that ball to be similar to the B330. Unfortunately it is the one X01 model that I don't like.

 

Another edit...looks like all 2006 X01 models are all now 330 dimples.

Is this post for real? I don't think the ball being pink is supposed to improve her game. She probably didn't play a pink ball when she was an amateur because until now have you ever seen a pink ball that can actually perform? She hits the ball longer than you probably do, so she needs a good ball that can spin. She's 19 and people love her and she's having fun out there. By the way, for the kind of money she's making I'd play any color ball they want, and so would you.

She's 19 years old and having fun with her favorite color. Also, she's making some cash for the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf program. That can't be bad, or am I missing something?

I totally agree.... let her be guys. If she wants to express herself this way, then so be it. I think she's going the right direction. I would love to see more of her character show up on the LPGA tour. These new young players are giving new life to the LPGA. :golfer:

Paula Creamer is attractive and she is a solid player.....she can use what ever color ball she wants in my opinion.

Its not an endorsment ploy or her trying to be differrent... its for CHARITY! its a great way to raise money and help sell a ball. She only uses it occasionally also, its not a evry day thing.
