I read the book (really good), and want to get the Video. For the past few days all the copies have been out at the Video Store, but I will watch it in the next few weeks.

I just saw it Saturday night and thought it was one of the better golf movies made - especially recently.

 

BTW - nice avatar. I don't know if I'm liking the idea of Leaf and Dixon sharing QB roles. I'm so gonna miss Clemens back there. Am excited for Stewart to lead the nation in rushing :) Go Ducks!!

I read the book first and actually liked the movie. I ended up getting it on taylormadefan's recommendation as he had read the book and still recommended the DVD. The last time I read a book first, I was sorely disappointed with the transfer to the screen (thanks go to Redford for the bastardization of Bagger Vance! :golfer: ). Definitely one of the better golf movies out there. (cool)

Thanks! GREAT to see another Ducks fan on here! Leaf sucks. I know they played poorly as a team last year in the Holiday Bowl, but Leaf really blew if for them. I actually like Dixon and think he has great potential. Hes quick and smart. Will miss Clemens though! I hope your right about Stewart. Maybe with his help this year we can be ranked 5th again and still not get selected for a BCS game...:golfer: GO DUCKS!

 

Do you own Teton Custom Golf? I am from Missoula, MT originally. My parents float the Snake River frequently. Where are you located?

Yeah, I don't think Leaf sucks but I am leaning towards Dixon. The Ducks have a nact for getting hosed in Bowl games (IE - 2001 vs Colorado Fiesta Bowl when we won something like 44-3 and Nebraska got tanked by Miami in the Orange Bowl for the "championship").

 

Yes I own Teton Custom Golf - we're in Ammon right outside of Idaho Falls but I'm originally from Portland. Love floating the Snake and the Deschutes.
