I WON!, Now What?

Pretty much every week I sit on my computer reading this board while watching the Big Break and I therefore end up entering the Watch and Win contest on the Golf Channels website. Well, I got the email that I won something. I called the number given in my email and found out that I have won Bridgestone Golf Balls for a year (24 Dozen given all at one time). Not too Bad, I never win anything. I haven't tried any of the Bridgestone balls, I will probably end up selling them at a greatly reduced price, maybe keeping a couple of dozen for myself!

 

 

 

A little story I wanted to share, but my real question would be what does everyone think as far as what ball I should request (assuming I get to request at all) as far as ease of unloading them, the B330 or the B330S

I actually like both the B330 and have played the e6 too.

 

Don't go for the e6.

 

As far as unloading them, I think the B330S is in more demand. Many people out there think the B330 is too hard.

 

I haven't played the B330S though.

I like both of them. The B330s is probably my favorite though, it's an OUTSTANDING all around ball IMHO. It feels hard off the driver, gives great distance (not as much as the B330, but close), soft and spins enough off the irons, and provides a lot of spin on short shots around the greens.

 

People who swing really hard 115-120 might overcompress the 330S, and would benefit from the harder core of the 330, but for us mere mortals, the 330S is a great ball IMHO.

 

Why not see if you can split the difference and get 12 of both?

With 24 dozen coming, I am sure we will be able to work out something. I just have to wait a couple of weeks to fill out all of the paper work to prove that I am not an employee and so on and then wait for shipping!

Congratulations gnewt. :golfer: That is an awesome prize--24 dozen balls, I don't think I could go through that many if I tried (and I would!).

As far as ease of sale, I'd have to vote for the B330s. The B330 has already been discounted in various sales as low as $24 per dozen (from memory, could have gone lower somewheres). Also, the 330s came out after and is more playable to more golfers. I could play both and be happy (and have), but would probably go with the "S."
