can u ever go back???

I have been really thinking of going with the SQ. I use a r580 xd and I do hit it very well, but I demoed the SQ and it really surprised me. It was great!!! But, if I go with the SQ, what happens when one day, I want to switch? I will be so used to that giant look. Could I ever be able to go back to a "normal" shaped head? I probably will love the SQ, but one day, I will want to moe on :golfer: So, if I do one day, could I go back to a normal shaped driver? This may be one of my few fears about going and getting the Sasquatch! (cool)

Don't let it bother you. I got one 3 weeks ago because I loved it when I demoed in the store. Gave it 3 good weeks of play and range work.

Promptly took it back to Golfsmith so I could take advantage of their 90 day playability guarantee.

And believe me I won't ever look back. Driver did not perform for me out in the real world.

And by the way the Tour head really doesn't look that much smaller IMHGO.

yes, you can go back. while trying to find the right shaft for mine, i did a lot of switching between my sq tour (which, yes, is smaller, but not significantly smaller) and my ignite 410. i also used the callaway ft-3 optifit system to help try differenct shafts. yeah, the ft-3 and ignite 410 are and look smaller, but it wasn't a problem. if you can hit a driver than hit a 3 wood with no problem then you can hit an sq and a 580 no problem.

 

my biggest problem isn't that the huge head bothers, but the huge head makes me think i am playing a shorter shaft.

 

get the sq. you know want to. come on, everyone else is. come to the dark side.

a word of advice on the sq, be very careful with shaft selection, I have a Stulz x which is a bomber BUT it cannot be hit with a draw. Many good players have tried to hit a draw swing with mine and it just goes straight!! It is now officially an anti-left driver!

 

If Tiger lead tapes the heel...what hope has anyone else got? (unless the shaft is spot on!)

I have the SQ Tour with the Aldila NV 65 s and I absolutely love it. Like others have said, just make sure you get the shaft that works for you.
