Next-gen drivers

think outside the box :)

Alright, this should be fun. Be a designer at a major company. Take a driver from a company and design their next driver on the market. Heres my go at it:

Ft-4 Warbird Fusion
Carbon back, Titanium face. Sounds more like normal titanium. Head is stretched from fave to back to make CG lower and further back. Also, has an optional Opti-Fit FT-4. With this, you can use the opti-fit system to buy your head and shaft. SO you go out and buy the FT-4 head and your shafts. Just use the wrench to put in your shaft!

Lets see some nice next-gen drivers in here. Be creative. The next r7? SQ's succesor? Hi-Bore Launcher II? Titleist 915X? It is up to you! Good luck :golfer: (cool)

TM R7 455 - bigger head plus a scooped out "crown" to increase length & breadth, moving CG further back and putting the 4 movable weights further apart. The marketing will quote that an overall lateral shift in target of 25-30 yards (or more) left to right will be made possible. Call me cynical, but it will be in the shops in time for Christmas!!! (And Retief Goosen will win a Major with 2 of them in his bag!)

i like the idea about being able to buy your shafts using the optifit system and being able to switch them out whenever you want. damn good idea!

TM - replace wt screws with explosive C4 screws that ignite on contact with ball. (tour issue only)..... retail drivers use Black Cat firecrackers.

ROTFLMAO....my thought would be to install micro-jet engines activated through a gyro which would detect the downswing...guaranteed to increase your clubhead speed to 200MPH and earn you frequent flyer miles for each swing!
