I picked up some Bridgestone E6's today

Anybody have any experience with them?

They have E5's and 6's for $19.99 a dozen at my local shop. I tried E5's about a month ago but didn't have too much success with them. They flew way to high for me. So I figured I would try the 6's this weekend in my search for my 2006 ball. I can't seem to justify $40+ a dozen to myself, so I go for the midrange balls. Anybody try them yet? Any other balls I should try other than E5s, Hx Hot's, or NXT's? Thanks guys and wish me luck.

They help eliminate side spin and the ball went much straighter. I like this ball a lot.

For me the e6 felt dead, I lost distance. The e5 is longer for me & softer.

I really liked the E5's...haven't tried the E6's...I'm sure you'll like 'em!

I made the same mistake 2 weeks ago. The e6's are distance losers for sure. The e5's are yet to be tested. I'm a little apprehensive, but we'll see. Try the Srixon AD333 or the Nike Power Distance Super Softs. You're laughing at me now, playing Nike's, but once you play them you'll be amazed. Srixons are very long, too. For game improvement you can't go wrong with either of these....trust me!!!

I played the e6 and it was as long as the NXT with the same feel. It was as long as the HX Hot but, felt a little softer. I also like the AD333 and my old favorite the Noodle. I found the e6 to be as good as any of the balls I listed. :golfer:

I'm pretty certain the E6 is the replacement of the Precept PowerDrive and according to the Bridgestone rep the two balls are almost identical; close enough that performance difference would negligible. So you can get them even cheaper if you look around.

I like the e6 with the driver and really like it with the irons from the fairway. It's too bad it fails around the greens. I constantly left putts short because the ball felt too soft off the putter face and could not get the ball to check up.
