Vulcan V 14 Driver

New Driver

Has anyone hit the Vulcan V 14? They've had write ups in GolfDigest and Links Magazine in the past couple of months. I hit one yesterday and was very surprised. This club hits really good. I don't know the specifics... www.vulcangolf.com The group that owns Vulcan, use to own RAM Golf during its hey days. But, I wanted to know if I was crazy or can someone substantiate my claims about this driver or any other Vulcan products that I should look at..

The ball comes off of the club face very hot. The set-up wasn't the correct one for me a Proforce V2 55 gram stiff. I'm thinking Proforce V2 85 x-stiff. But, I was really impressed. I thought they were knock off's. I put my order in for one this afternoon.

Vulcan makes some great products and the V14 is yet another neat innovation. I tried one in Orlando with the V2 and was very impressed. Solid feel and a very nice ball flight, high with just the right amount of spin for me. Gary Hansberger is a great guy and he appears to have worked hard over the last decade to establish the Vulcan brand.

I put one of his Woody hybrids in my bag (19 degree) 3 years and it has not left. It was a big surprise at the time but now that I have played with it for so long I am certainly more willing to have a look at their other products.
