Alternative to Alidla NV Hybrid

Looking for an alternative to the Aldila NV Hybrid Shaft

I just bought a Tour Edge Jmax Bazooka head (came with regular shaft). I have hit and love the NV Hybrid (85 gram) in my Adams A2 but don't want to pay the $80 plus labor to put the Aldila NV Hybrid in my Jmax if there's something comprable for less. Any suggestions? My other thought was to go with steel in a DG SL S300, but that would dramatically lower ball flight over the NV option and I like graphite in my woods/hybrids.

How about FUJIKURA BANZAI ? Golfworks.com charges for 50 bucks.

I'd also take a look at the Accuflex FH ... $49.95 at Golfsmith online.

Second vote for the Accuflex FH. Best hybrid shaft I have tried. Very stable and trajectory is high but not too high.

Also call TourEdge and see what they charge for reshafting. I had a set of V-Blades reshafted by them with X100s and new grips for $128. They have a lifetime warranty on their clubs and generally only charge for labor, unless it is an exotic shaft: diamana h or speeder 904 or project x or black gold, then you will pay for that shaft.

However, they are slower than turtles when it comes to reshaft work.

Well I got my Tour Edge bazooka tour 19* with a aldila nv hybrid 85g in it... and I know down at my golf usa they have them with the NV hybrid for 80$.

Ask your clubmaker about the Rifle MT85. Two years ago I wanted to reshaft my TM rescue MD with an IROD, my CM swore by the Rifle and said that if I didnt like it he exchange it for free. Well, its been awsome, feels like a canon when you strike the ball, nice ballight also. I just rehafted my Baffler with another Rifle MT85. Same result. You can trim this shaft for different flexes, kickpoints, etc. My CM trims the R flex to play like a stiff, with a mid-low kickpoint.

The performance in this shaft has been above any hybrid shaft ive tried.

UST Irod is quality, got one in my Sonartec MD19, it's not too expensive either. Another alternative is the Grafalloy Blue I think they are only about $30

Irod from ust is an excellent hybrid shaft,very stable and workable
