Big Fore Golf Package 2006

Has anyone on the Forum played there? My girlfriend and I are going up in July. I'm a 12 and she is a 23. When I play with her, NOBODY ever looks at me! :golfer:

Thank you so much for the all the response to my question. We're going to go up and play Gray Rocks anyway. Either the members on this forum don't like French Canadians or they only play their home courses. C'est la Vie. "There is no accounting for taste."

I would have posted earlier if I had seen your thread.

You will love Gray Rocks. La Bete is the newer and much tougher course while La Belle is the original that has been updated and a little friendlier to the higher handicapper. Great settings for both courses.

While you are up, if you have a spare couple hours, check out the Manitou executive course nearby. Great holes and conditions. Le Geant, Diable (Host course 1999 Canadian Skins Game) and Le Maitre are also can't misses although Le Maitre is private.

Also make sure to take the gondola ride up Mont Tremblant and try the food at Fat Tuesday's in the village (Tremblant). The village of St-Jovite also has some nice cafe's and restaurants.

I have played most of the courses in Mt. Tremblant, went there 3 consecutive years. Never stayed at Gray Rocks but stayed in the village of Mt. Tremblant. I prefer La Bete over La Belle, I agree with the comments by "theinsider". My favourite would be Le Maitre, owned by Clublink, you can get on there but usually it is necessary to stay at one of the larger hotels in the village, the cost was $150 per person and that was in 2003.

Great scenery, very friendly people and the courses are usually in pristine condition, overall a great place for a golf vacation.

Golfwolf: Thank you for your input. My girlfriend played there back in the 80's, and she remembers a Par 3 where you drive over a ravine onto a small island type green. Would you by any chance know which course that would be on? She got a Hole-In-One on that hole! It goes without saying that she'll never forget that shot, but believe it or not she cannot remember the name of the course, now that there are so many others. Perhaps it was La Belle???
