General overview of the whole course

This is a sweet par 4 - Big dog leg to the right. To get to the corner is only about a 245yd shot but If you can carry a high ball about 280 you can go over the tall trees at the corner, flirt with the OB and leave yourself a much shorter shot to the green.

I LOVED my round at your course last summer. A really beautiful course that was so fun to play. My day was helped by sunshine and warm temps that helped my go 3-2 on holes 4 & 5. My near ace on 5 was one of the most memorable shots of the trip, even though I couldn't see it when I hit it.

Springville is located in Utah County, the next town south of Provo, and 45 minutes south of Salt Lake. Logan is a couple of hours away from me.

the "lava loop" is very chalenging consisting of a par 4,3,4 holes 16 17 18

 

16 is a 335 yard par 4 plays into the trade wind....must hit deadly acurate drive to hit the 20 yard wide fairway. dolegs left to a 3 tear green. 17 is a 188 par 3 up hill into the wind two tear green ob just left desert right...18 is downhill downwinf 440 par 4 rock pie 320 in the midle of the fairway fairway is 30 yards wide at 300

under file in google earth.. there is a saved as option.. click it.. save it to your compy then attach to post.

I know a handful of WRXers can call this home - or at least close to it. I still like to call it home, even though I'm thousands of miles a way. Its nothing special, but its our diamond in the rough.

 

 

 

Yes, thats an air base. Its not uncommon to have a C5 take off behind you, but the worst is the after burners from a jet in the middle of a back swing :golfer:

Here's where I often play and where I hit my first golf ball ... It's located at about 25 km from Paris west side (in France) ... "Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Golf course". There are 2x 18 holes and 1x compact 9 holes. I've marqued the Blue course, the main and longest course.

Since 2 years, they begins lot of work and courses will be reconstructed and merged ...
