Fixing Scratches on Driver

Early this year I was on a business trip in Palm Springs and managed to get in a few rounds. During the first round my driver broke right at the hozel. The club was a TM 580XD with a factory installed NV-65. Well the club head took a trip through the desert getting pretty well scratched up, although somehow the face came through damage free. I sent the club to TM and they reshafted it with the NV, but sent back the scratched up head. My question for you guys is how can a repair the scratches? This is now my backup, but I'd like to hide some of the scratches on the crown.

Match the paint with a auto touch up tube (most auto parts stores). Lightly brush touch it, just enough to fill the scratches. Get 1000 grit wet,dry sand paper (also at the auto store), wet sand it lightly (too much and you can go through to the metal). Now get your self some light grit rubbing compound (guess where you get that, yes the auto parts store), lightly rub until it brings the shine back as the wet sanding will make the paint look very dull. A coat of wax and your done. All 4 steps does not take very long, you just have to take keep it lightly. I worked in a body shop right out of high school now i play around redoing clubs time to time :golfer:

you can get matching paint from golfpaint.com. ive used them a couple times with no problems.

The first thing you want to do is to see if the scratches rub out.

I don't know if you got through the paint...or these are just surface marks.
