TT Dynalite Shafts

Still Good or Outdated?

I have been thinking about buying a set of Srixon I-403AD irons off Ebay just to try them. The sets I've seen come with the TT Dynalite shafts and I'm wondering if they are still a good shaft. Your thoughts and thank you.

Dynalites are not outdated at all. In fact, they are underrated. Higher trajectory, lighter weight, and softer tip thany DGS. If players were honest about their ability, most would play better by switching out Dynamic Golds for Dynalites.

I agree with the previous posts. It is a good shaft for slower to medium swingspeeds. Lighter with higher trajectory than dynamic gold which will benefit most average golfers.

I agree, a very good shaft for many swings...and very underrated.

 

If I'm not mistaken, the Dynalite shaft was the original Hogan Apex shaft. Additionally, if I remember correctly, Nick Price used to use Dynalite's back when he was dominating the tour. Clearly, not just a shaft for hacks!

I believe Paula C. has Dynalites in her clubs on the LPGA tour. Great shaft for a higher ballflight. I noticed you had R in most of your irons. For most players in R shafts, Dynalites are THE better choice then Dynamic golds.

 

In many ways, the Dynalites are to Dynamic Golds as the ProLaunch to the "Blue" by Graffaloy.

I play the Dynalite Gold in my X-18 Pro Series, and I love them. They are lighter weight than the DG, and have a nice high trajectory.

 

I like the analogy that onebulldogs made where the Dynalite is the "Prolaunch" to the Blue.

Was that custom made? I emailed Callaway about reshafting my x16 pro with dynalite and they told me that they dont use those shafts.

 

I was custom fit on a launch monitor for irons last year, and my best numbers were with the X-18 Pro Series / Dynamic Gold and MX-23 / Dynalite Gold, so my clubfitter and I decided to order a set of X-18 Pro Series and reshaft them with Dynalite Golds. I think they are a great combination, and I'm not sure why Callaway doesn't offer the Dynalite Gold as a custom option.

I have had Dynalite Gold in my irons for 8 years, and couldn't be happier. I have gone through 5 sets of irons in that time and always custom order that shaft. I am a scratch player, and have never understood why so many people use shafts that make them hit the ball lower.Definitely a big thumbs up.

I've got Dynalites in my irons. I got a set of Wishons off ebay. I wanted the heads so I was planning on reshafting them but turns out I liked the Dynalites so I kept them in. They really make it easy on you. Put a smooth swing on 'em and the shafts do their job nicely. They get the ball up and penetrating with minimal effort. They do go a little high but they don't balloon or anything weird like that.

All time favorite shaft. I have an 85 mph 5 iron SS, but with a slower tempo. I load them perfectly, always felt I had to "muscle" Dynamic Gold S300's.
