Cross-handed or not and its effect on my full swing

Last fall, I decided to switch from cross-handed which I've used for my entire 8 year competitive career to reverse overlap in order to have a more consistent grip from tee through green and so that I could use my putting grip on certain chip shots.

 

However, because I naturally get into a position with my right should lower than my left, , there is now a sigficantly great difference in height between my left and right shoulder at address on my full swing and that my right should is lower than I'd like when I'm putting. I've also noticed my ball striking has gotten worse, though there are a number of reasons for this.

 

Switching back to cross-handed does not fix my problem - it only mitigates the consequences. Any advice?
