Caution when bending TM RAC TP black wedges

I had one of my Taylor Made RAC TP black wedges bent back to spec. As purchased it was 2 degrees weak. It bent fairly easily but then starting rattling sort of like the Titleist irons when one of the old wooden dowels started traveling up and down the shaft. It made a noise on the back swing, down swing, and at impact so it probably wasn't a shaft weight applied from the inside or wasn't a lead plug in the end since those are held in place with glue. Since the ferrule was horribly turned we decided just to take the club apart. To our suprise Taylor Made swing weights their heads with what looks like little bullets (little smaller than .25 cal). This had a silver "bullet" of about 1/2 inch long. Since this was a dynamic gold shaft one wonders how light the raw forgings they are accepting for production are. Maybe since this is a black finish and not chrome the missing weight needed to be compensated. The hosel had a real long drill hole with room for the bullet weight in the bottom and then a taper ledge for the shaft to go in. Sort of reminds me of the golfworks system where you added your weight in the hosel depending on the shaft you selected. I guess they control the weight by using different materials brass, aluminum, steel etc. for these little bullets. So be careful bending the black wedges and if one starts buzzing like crazy this is what it is and will need to be reglued. This one looked like they just dropped it in and hoped some of the shaft glue would drip down and glue it in place which it didn't
