SLIGHTERIZED!!!

I am another super satisfied customer of tom slighter....His work and customer service was above and beyond what i was expecting (and i was expecting alot since i saw so many of his great work on this site and every single person spoke so highly of him). Anyways I'll let the pics speak for itself...in a nutshell i wanted a heavier newport without having to spend $1500 plus on a circle t....

The 360 stamped on the back bumper shows the head weight now...but tom said it came out somewhere between 355 and 360 grams. The weights arent adjustable...I basically told him to make it as heavy as possible knowing that it would be in the 355+ range. When we first started this project, i didnt think he could get it up that high since i told him to remill the face (he said remilling can reduce the weight as much as 10 grams) and you gotta take into account the grams lost when you drill holes to put the weights in. If you are interested in doing something like this but dont want to add as much weight he said there are smaller tungsten inserts that he can use. Anyways..thanks for the compliments!!!

Another nice piece of work by Tom Slighter. It looks gorgeous, yet simple. I like the cleanliness of all the work.

I just got my Tacoma in my hands and it is more beautiful in person, than in the pics.

Tom seems to be gaining major momentum in the customization field as well as the custom putter genre'. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy, that is for sure.

Great looking putter!!!!HAVE FUN with it!!!

I got my SC Newport done thru Tom and he did great. He added 2 tungsten weight on the sole with a red dots on it. It cost me 175 but not as much as the Circle T that is around 1500 and up. The weight now of my newport is 355g and it putts very well.

great looking putter, also gotta love the slighter logo on the face. Gotta show some love to him for his great work. Im still waiting for mine to come in and i am very very very anxious. Adding weight seems real nice, how much id it run you? (if you dont mind)

The cost was around $180...that is for the weights and refinishing...i added some other things which brought the total up a little more. He actually did alot of the stampings for free...(Scotty charges $30 for every stamping =X). I was concerned about remilling the face but im glad it worked out the way i wanted it. I bought this putter used for just under $100 and now i feel like i have my own tour putter =P. I had him stamp the slighter sign so that everyone knows this putter has been slighterized!!! Thanks for looking...if your thinking about doing something like this...GO AHEAD and do it...you wont be disappointed!!!!
