Whats the Best Driver Head

What driver head has the lowest spin rate that is on the market.... ANYONE KNOW?

Looking for an 8 to 9 degree driver...

905s could be your best bet, but if you're looking for a 460cc, not sure...Maybe the Hibore.

Whenever I think G2 or G5 in any loft I think at least mid spin (about equal with R5).

 

If you want low spin, low launch, nothing's going to beat Bridgestone's 420CC J33R, if you hit that with too much spin, it's time to take a lesson. :golfer:

 

High launch low spin, the hibore or SQ max.

I am going to wing it based on past postings here. I would say the deepfaced divers that moved the weight higher on the clubface are the best bet. Heard the new Cleveland Hi Bore, Ft-3, Bridgestone J33r, and the older TM R7's would all give real low spin numbers.

 

Guys that put these up on launch monitors would know best. I know they are here. Let us see what they say.

I'd go with the 905R or the 905T!!!

it al depends on your ball flight characteristics........I suggest Titleist.....905 S for More workability, lower ballflight.....905 T for heel weighted and higher ball flight or 905 R for Maximum performance as a 455cc head.

Careful when considering all of the recommendations here. The tour versions of each of the listed clubheads will give you the best launch numbers for your skill level. They typically have sqaure or open faces and a higher cg for lower more boring trajectory. The local Edwin Watts guys say that the FT-3 Tour has overwhelmingly given more golfers the optimal launch monitor numbers for launch angle, spin rate and distance. Those are THEIR words.

 

As with any club, only your swing will decide what works best for you.
