Please post your confirmation in this thread as I need to get a number so I can reserve spots. Im hoping we can get at least 20 out, it'd be sick if it was more!

Im down with that if the greens are as pure as they were last year its fine by me. I would imagine it would be around 40 bucks a player which is reasonable for everyone in winter. Mark you taking the lead on this one?

Yeah Matt, I'll take the lead on this one, but might require some of your Yoda knowledge if i run into any problems haha.

Im thinking late November is too soon, so should we shoot for Dec or Jan? The greens are already rolling pretty nice so Im assuming that they should be awesome in a few months, and the bunkers will also have all new sand in them. Matt, they've also leveled all problem tee boxes!

Matt set up help he will lol. No prob on the help. I would suggest dec or jan too. Gives more time for people to get it scheduled. Good to here about the tees and bunkers. Now if they would only take out two or three trees on the back 9 but thats another story. How was the duke. We are going back to Sunridge tomorrow. The back nine there ranks in my book as one of the best in town.

Heh...

My wife got tired of me last weekend, watching the Frys.com on TV because I may have mentioned my birdie on #15 a couple of (hundred) times...
[/quote]

It's pretty cool, to watch a Professional Golf Tournament on a course you have played. I was retracing mental shot from the time we played Grayhawk...A birdie would have me pretty stoked also...

Ha sounds like my girlfriend i came home from a round last weekend told her i had 12 straight pars then a bogey and birdie to start my round the eyes glazed over and then she asked is that good followed by telling me the dog needs to go out.

I was down in Ahwatukee this past week and would have hit you guys up for some company, but I was working on a house and only got out twice on such short notice I couldn't plan anything.

I played Southern Dunes for $32, they didn't overseed this year and other than the bunkers being pretty pancaked it was in great shape.

The day before I left I got onto Whirlwind Devil's claw for $45, They had just finished overseed and the course looked gorgeous but the greens were crazy slow since they couldn't roll them yet. I couldn't get anything to the hole all day.

I should be back down around the beginning of December for a bit then again in January. I will definately look to hook something up with a few of you while I am down the next couple of trips.

BTW if anybody is looking to rent a House in the Dobson Ranch area, I just finished fixing up a nice one.

I might be interested as well...... have to ask i'm new to the forum and have been reading and enjoying a lot of your guys posts....

I have concluded you guys are way better at golf than I can hope to be...... After two major back surgeries and having more titanium in my back than my driver i'm happy to still be swinging a club.....

So I haven't actually played in about 4 yrs after but after this last surgery a year ago i am finely feeling pretty good and have been slowly going out and hitting balls and putting at the local course...

I guess what i'm trying to ask is there room for a real hack in this thing if so I would be interested...... ;)

Yup everyone is welcome. We have had a wide range of scores in our past 2 events and it doesnt really matter its all about having fun with the fellow wrxers and ganging up to try and beat ckguy for once. I think this may be the one lol.

Any and all skill levels are welcome. These events are more about just getting together and enjoying a nice round of golf with people who truely love the game, not about posting the lowest score.

I spoke with the GM today and got some more details. If we did it in January, on a Sunday morning at 8 am, the price per player would be $45 including range balls. It might be a tad cheaper in DEC. I'll turn this thread in to a poll as well, please vote if Dec or Jan would suit everyones schedule better.

We can do our own"closest to the pin" and "longest drive" awards. I'll talk to the GM and see if he'll be willing to throw in any prizes,, if nt we'll just do it for bragging rights hahah. Once we figure out what month works best, then I'll post up the exact date for everyone, and just post in the thread to confirm your position.

My vote is for January, between all company meetings, finals and Christmas december is going to be horrible.

If we had it before or even the first week or so of school that would be awesome, but I'm flexible.

Well what do you guys say we shoot for Jan 10th? It's the 2nd Sunday of the month and it gives everyone enough time to get back in town from any holiday trips, and enough time for new years hangovers to wear off. :drinks:
