Shaft for J33R; Need help...

Just bought a new 9.5 deg. J33r off Ebay for a super low price. It's the 420cc version and it arrived today. It has aan NV65 S in it that I'm thinking of swapping out. I need help choosing a shaft for this head. I currently play a R510TP, 9.5 w/a Speeder 757 S. I really like this driver, but I wanted to try the B'Stone.

Shaft wise, I like the feel of the 757 as it's not that stiff. The NV feels a bit stiffer to me. Also, many have said that the J33 is a fairly low launching head. Therefore, should I go with a low-kick soft tip shaft? I generally hit the ball high and my preference in a driver shaft is something that has feel and kick to it. I've previously played the GD YS6 shafts in stiff, which felt good to me; fairly flexy but not whippy and out of control...

Thoughts? How's the V2? I have an iRod FW S in my 3 wood, and like it. What about Prolaunch Blue?

...imo, the 757 and nv75 are very similar shafts as far as performance. the nv feels a little smoother, or more dampened, than the 757. some folks really like the crisp feel of the 757 though. given you play a 757 well, i'd at least give the nv65 a try. you might be surprised by the results. if you don't like it, post why and pointing you in another direction will be easier. good luck.

i dont think you need to change the shaft,

because NV65S will NOT play as stiff as Speeder757...

figure that JJ3R is lowlaunching head, and you have a smooth shaft in it,

seems to me you already have a nice combo@

Some people like the V2 in it. I had an Accra Tour 70 in mine and it was a great combo. The Accra shafts just feel better to me than the V2. I am getting an Accra SC 75 put in mine right now.

I've heard the Axiv shafts by Mamiya have great feel and kick. Mamiya owns Accra and UST.

An Irod or Prolaunch would probably work good too.

Thanks guys!! I am gonna give the NV a try first. I was swinging the club indoors (I have high ceilings) and I think it might work. I'll post my results...
