Findley Lake, New York. I live 20 min away. I also work the driving range for 3 days so i can get Bags & tour Van.

I live 10 minutes from the Dominon Club--site of the Henrico Open. Will try and shoot down there for some pics. Also might try and get down to the LPGA Michelob at Kingsmill.

I will more than likely go to the Price Cutter Charity Championship in Springfield, Missouri July 20-23. I got a good camera, but I may also try to Monday qualify for this event. So, if I qualify dont know about pics. But either way I will be there. Got to support a great friend of mine on the Nationwide this year, Roland Thatcher.

I go to the Cox Classic every year here in Omaha. Thats a big one on this tour, so it always brings out the big guns. Thats where Gore shot 59 last year. I'll most certainly get good pics. A good friend of mine, who is also a club pro, has played in it the last couple years. So, I have a good "IN" for good pics. I'll be getting all I can, you can bet on that.

Ive got the Miccosukee covered. Last year it was cancelled due to hurricanes hopefully I get you guys pics and videos this year since that is my 2nd home course =D

I tried to look it up. Typically they allow you to take pics on the practice rounds (M,T,Wed) and that is it. The BMW tournament is the premier event on the Nationwide PGA Tour and is the only event that features professionals paired with an amateur/celebrity partner in a two-day best-ball competition. So I am not sure if they might allow for thurs-Sunday Pics. I doubt it though. Sounds like a great tournament. Here are some of the Celebrities going...

A little late in the season and a tad early to commit, but I'd be willing to bet dollars to donuts that I'll be repping Golfwrx from Sept. 7-10 at the Envirocare Utah Classic (I'll be the one sporting either the Golfwrx shirt or the anti-Envirocare shirt :golfer: ).

Try to get as close as possible. It is hard to take these types of Pictures to close. Some of the better series we have had where shots that the clubs took the entire frame.

 

 

I think the Nationwide and champions tours would both be a good twist. These pro don’t have the huge equipment contracts as the top guys on the PGA so they would tend to play a variety of brads and equipment. Such as the US amateur. They play what they choose without any pressure to play from one OEM.

I called their number for ticket sales today and was told that practice rounds were NOT open to the public, tickets were only for Thurs-Sun. Any ideas on how to get into practice rounds? Thanks

I am off that entire week.

 

Thinking of going to get pics either Monday or Tuesday. Trying to decide to watch golf those days or actually play. My course is closed on Monday, so I'll probably head out there then. A mere 3 minutes from my house.

 

I am worried about the gates and what they are checking for. If I try to take in a camera, are the folks working the gates going to know that only ProAms and Practice rounds are going on and it is ok to bring in cameras those days or are they going to not let any cameras in at all.

 

I'll try to snap some pics and get them posted here, especially if the field is as good as it has been before. We probably won't know what the field will be like until Friday the 5th when golfweb.com posts it.

Yes it would. However if you find and extra couple of hours at the range. Rip a 100 pics of some close-up bag shots! :)

I have my weekly pass for the LaSalle Bank open.

I'll have to clear out some of my memory cards and fire up the ole Nikon.

Probable only carry a few lenses. most likely the 50-500 and 1 or 2 others.

I'll be at the Price Cutter in Springfield, MO. Thats usually a pretty big one because its one of the biggest purses on the tour (i think).
