fitting help Nippon NSPro 950s

Can you suggest a good club maker please. I you can help either locally (in Los Angeles area) or via mail, it'd be great.

 

I am tryin to install Nippon NSPro 950s to my existing Ben Hogan CFT 4 to Gap Wedge. (no hybrids - my 4 iron is the regular type). So here are my problems.

 

1. the heads need to be bent 3 degrees flat. ( it was bent 2 degrees upright by the original owner of the clubs) Local clubmakers won't touch'em because they say it might break. Will it?

2. I am soft stepping (using 3 iron shaft for 4 iron cuttting it at the butt end) all my irons. The problem is what do with my sand and lob wedge (Nippons that I purchased from Japan came in a set from 3 to P). The ideal flex for the S wedge is about 4.5 and L wedge is about 4.0 (using Rifle scale). The length on the S wedge should be 44.5 and L wedge at 44 inches. since I only have the Nippon shafts to replace down to my Gap wedge, I thought I'd use the P wedge shaft from my old hogan set or cut down the 9 or 8 iron at the butt to soft step them down to the frequencies that I desired but which one? the other problem is the jump in the weight. The nippons are only about 98 grams but the hogan apex shafts weigh about 115 (constant weight).

3. the final problem is that the local club makers think I am crazy to go lighter (or softer) on my wedges. However, Dave Pelze (the short game coach for Phil Mickelson) has proven time and time again that you need to progressively go lighter and softer as you increase your lofts in your wedges.

 

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and info. By the way, I am about 95 mph on the driver SS. I carry my 5 iron about 175. My HC is about 17. The shaft I am purchasing from Japan are NS Pro 950 r/s. Its the model between stiff and regular.
