To go SQ or not to go SQ

that is the question

I was about to get an SQ 2day. I was gonna trade my r580xd (still hit it great, but i really like the sq). Golfsmith did not have any SQ 10.5* regs. DO you think I should trade for the SQ or stand pat with the xd. Also, is Golfsmith still giving an extra 20* for national trade in days (or something like that :golfer:.

SQ is a very good driver, and very forgiving...

 

i don't see why not, since you ARE willing to trade...

 

and that 20% thing is just a bonus, maybe it is MEANT TO BE...aha

I love my SQ, but I'm not here to peddle it like a crack dealer. If you think the benefits of it will help your game, then the choice is easy. If you haven't already, I would demo it extensively to ensure your making a sound purchase.

 

Good luck with your decision. The SQ is a hell of a driver if fitted properly, but so are the rest of 'em. :golfer:

I demoed the SQ twice at demo days and it was by far the best. I destoryed it! Aslo, I tried to like the ignite for a year or 2, but i never got to like it. It is a different story with the SQ. At first I thought it was weird and too big, but I got used to it. The big head gives the optical illusion of having a shorter shaft. Builds confindence!

I am opposite I hate the SQ but I love the Ignite. Sorry I just cant find a reason to switch and ill skip the SQ line until Nike comes out with a newer driver unless of course my Ignite breaks and I cant find a replacement.

 

I'm the same. I have a 9.5* Ignite, and I love it. I just got a SQ10.5*, constantly hitting a draw with it. Seems to me from reading this and other posts about this club, it either is a monster club for you, or doesn't work at all, no in-between. Better go demo it before you buy it (like my wife has told me EVERY day this week...)
