I just filled up at $2.98/gallon for premium. Right down the street, no more than 3-4 blocks the same brand (Shell) is selling premium at $3.29/gallon. Lawdamercy!! :)

$2.88 for regular here in Central FL is the cheapest I can find, and it just so happens to be right next door so it's convienent too. Most places are about to touch the $3 mark with summer on it's way.

Hudson Valley region of NY, $3.55 regular, $3.85 premium. That's how a free market works, I guess. I remember paying less than a dollar for gas once upon a time...

Too true, to be really sad this is how it currently stacks up for the UK

 

- Approx £1 per litre

- 3.78 litres to the US gallon

- Therefore £3.78 per US Gallon

- At todays exchange rate $6.75

 

Be gratefull that not many you over the pond know who Gordon Brown is....... :)

In Milwaukee its between 2.89 and 3.09.

I feel really bad for the California members, where the gas prices have gotten foolishly high (upwards of $4 in some places).

I just filled up here in Alpena Michigan and its 2.79 a gallon. I guess I can't complaind to much looking at the rest of the nation

Just 8 years ago, here in WA gas was 89¢/gallon for regular. And I'm 36 (next month), thank you very much. So in answer to your question: No. :)

$2.79 in SW Missouri. I recalled the price of gas was at 68 cents per gallon 7-8 years ago.

 

Still we'd better be grateful that we are not paying Europe's prices for gas. At Stockholm, Sweden in summer of 2004, I paid around $6 per gallon(can't remember exact amount) while it was around $1.50-1.75 or so in US.

Thank you for that perspective, we need that really bad right about now! It really opens your eyes when you look at the consumption charts and how we are nothing short of gluttonous pigs when it comes to oil consumption. Like it or not its true.

3.45 regular 3.65 Plus and 3.85 Premium in brooklyn last week a station was selling 4.55 premium story at nydailynews.com and also if you go to google and type msn gas they have the cheapest and most expensive in any zip code the user gives.

In Australia we are paying $1.40 per litre, there are abot 4 litres in a gallon so that is about $5.60 AUD per gallon. Which is about $4.20 US per gallon. It's brutal, a lot of that is tax. I think about 38cents a litre plus 10% GST.
