Rifle spinners, what flex?

I have some Rifle 6.0s in my Eye2's and I just got some Ping Tour Black Nickels, 50, 56, and 60. I don't much care for the Z-Z65s thus far, and want to reshaft. Are the spinners a good choice for them, or should I look elsewhere, or would regular Rifles do the trick. I hit the ball a pretty long way, and would use the 56 for anything from 110-115 in. I am not a hard swinger, just am really tall and have a HUGE arc. Any ideas?

I don't think the spinners are a good fit for you IMHO. It sounds like you take full swings with your wedges. Spinners are VERY soft in the tip and get the ball up high with a lot of spin. I lost distance and accuracy with them. The most shocking thing was that they felt very loose even on short chips and pitches. I just couldn't get comfortable with them.

I know someone's going to say, "you shouldn't ever swing a wedge at 100%." I don't, but I do take full swings with my wedges and spinners just don't stand up to them (and i'm not a hard swinger either).

If you take nothing more than a 3/4 swing with your wedges and want to raise your ball flight and spin, these might be a good fit.

From the description of your swing, I think you'll be more comfortable with 5.5 flighted rifles in your wedges if you want a softer feel.

i play rifle 6.0 in my irons and recently reshafted a set of nike forged wedges (53*, 58*, and 60*) with some rifle shafts. i opted to go with a 6.0 in the 53* because i do use it a lot for full shots, but the rifle still has enough feel that even at 6.0 flex its not too stiff for chips and short shots around the green. for the 58* and 60* i went with the 5.5 because i don't use these for full shots, and to get a little extra spin on the ball. the change has been great for all 3 wedges.

i don't have any personal experience with the spinner shafts, but with the really soft tip, and all the complaints i had heard about the high trajectory i just didn't see how it could be a good fit.
