I have a Mizuno C03H Bettinardi putter which I am pleased with. I switched to this from a TM Rossa Daytona CGB, and have been happy with the switch. My perception is that I am getting a bit better distance control/consistency with this putter. Both of these models putt quite well, but I think I am getting less 'hot' puts from the Mizuno/Bettinardi than I did from the TM Daytona. I also switched to go to a 34", liking the fact that the Mizuno had a dedicated head weight for the shorter length. My only very minor complaint is that there are milling marks here and there on the putter mostly in the neck area, which give it a slightly unfinished look in those areas. However, the overall look is good, and the performance is great. Some have complained about the grip being too soft and muting the feel of the club, but I don't find this at all. Great looking grip to go with the club. Nice leather headcover to boot.

Just purchased the C-03 a week ago, had compared it to my Gauge Design "Terra" and found that I really fell for the feel and pace, really soft at contact and gave a ton of feedback. I have found 2 great putters in the Blade style of the Mizuno Betty C-03 and the Terra Malletn from GD.

I have tested Titleist, Nike Unitized, Ping, Odyssey Black, and the YES! models and found this was going to be a fixture in my bag for a long time to come.

Mizuno must now put this much effort into their drivers!!

C-03

I got this putter as part of my Mizuno staff package, and to be honest, I'm not overly fond of it.

Perhaps it's just my own perception, or perhaps the one I have is built crooked, but this putter appears (to me) to sit closed. Everytime I stand over it, I feel like I need to aim a tad bit further left because I think the face is going to make me pull the putt right. Who knows if it's just my mind playing tricks on me, but I am NOT putting well with it...not nearly as well as I was with my Scotty Studio Stainless

I'm giving this one a 2, simply because I like the feel, and the headcover is pretty slick :p

I'm also a Lefty with the C-03 and I see what electroleum means about the putter appearing to sit closed, but that only happens when my hands are too low and it is held in a "flat" position. The weighting of the putter pulls the head closed. When you stand the putter in its intended upright position (use a mirror to check) the face is dead square as I see it. Maybe try choking down a hair if you like your hands low or shorten your shaft in 1/4 inch increments until you can get the putterhead to sit flat on the ground. I've noticed the same thing happens with Scottys and Pings when you hold your hands too low, or when you "accidentally" bend your hosel out of whack after 4 jacking a par 5 for bogey.

Other than that, the putter is super, feels great off the face, looks great from the top and the price is very reasonable. Mizuno did a nice job working with Bettinardi on this one to get a milled putter out the door for a reasonable price. Too bad all the putter snobs aren't really giving it a chance in the marketplace.

Cheers!

After a month, I found the black carbon to be too soft.

Went back to a C06 series Bettinardi for Mizuno.

What a crafted putter. Love it. Stay with the silver Bettinardi for Mzuno, not the black

carbon model.

Touch is pure with the C- Series!

I just order my C06H. It is similar to a Scotty Cameron Catalina with the double bend shaft.

Found a new C-06 in a local store and just am amazed by it.

This Catalina double bend face balanced models know as the C-06 are rare. I snagged one and what a natural for me.

Picked up a C05H lefty on Ebay. I have been using a Byron and like it. Just wanted something else to look at. I want an Anser face balanced double bend putter but the choices in lefty are slim to none. Months ago I was looking at this C05H putter. I was able to score a new one on Ebay and played my first round with it. I must say I am very pleased with it. It is easy to put a good stroke on it, looks great, and feel is very good. You really can tell where you hit it on the face. The club is extremely balanced. So far very happy.

I had an A-02 for about two weeks, it was bought used and went back to the shop in trade for a five wood. Hard to control distance and it sets up weird to my eye.

I currently have a gorgeous C-01h, 34 inches. While I have it listed in the FOR SALE section of the forum, I love the putter and am not eager to part with it. I find the head weight a bit on the light side and have recently located a much heavier MALTBY putter that I am using and love for its feel and better distance control. The C-01h is easy to align and has a nice appearance at address and the feel of the carbon steel is amazing, just a bit on the light side for me. If I don't sell it, I might play with some additional weighting and possibly add a half an inch to it.

It's for sale if anyone is interested. See the ad on the forum or e-mail me directly.

Had my first round with a C-02H yesterday. I was a little off at the start due to rushing and only played this course once before = three 3 putts in first five hole. Then started to get a feel for it and holed a couple of great putts, one an 18 inch swing straight in the centre. I over read a couple but finished with a birdie and only 2 over handicap. That makes 6 birdies in the last three rounds which is good for me, normally rounds are made up of pars and boggys (9 hcp).

Very very impressed, lovely feel and look. Very understated. Not overly sure about the grip, may try and get a firmer one (iomic?) but will be leaving this in for a few rounds yet.

I've played the Mizuno Bettinardi C-02H and I thought it was a very good putter, very comparable to the Scotty Cameron Mil-Spec line. The feel is soft, and the craftsmanship was fantastic.

Visually, though, the putter didn't work for me. First, I struggled with the "slant" plumbers neck--it never quite looked right at address and with my forward press. Second, the lines on the putter were a little more hard than I was used to (e.g., flat top line). And third, the polished honeycomb face was a little too hey-come-look-at-me! for my tastes.

Still, I think it was a great putter and certainly worth the bargain price you can get them for these days.

I have a C01, same head as the C02 but with a longer neck, which I love, gives an awesome perspective on the ball. Switched over to it from a Scotty Cameron Studio Design 1.5 and I like the consistency of the Bettinardi more. Distance control is better, and the short ones are automatic, part of it might be that I had a slant neck on my Studio Design, might purchase a Studio Design with the plumber's neck and see if it make a difference, but overall, I would take the C01 over the Scotty any round.
