I am concearned that I am standing to far away from the ball, espicially with the driver. I am a 2 handicaper that has 105 ss with a avg drive near 290-300 and have noticed lately that I seem to be reaching too much. My misses are hard pulls,like all my weight is on my toes at impact. I have also noticed that when I line the club up to the ball at address, the ball is lined up on the toe, not the center of the clubface. My misses have been on the heel. How can I line the ball back up in the middle of the clubface without it seeming like it is lined up on the hosel? The feel of the swing seems like I am on my toes at impact and swinging too far outside(not over the top) on the follow through which I did not think was possible. I know generally that if you are on your toes, you will come over the top, but I am swinging to far outside and getting heel contact. Hope this is understandable. Any help would be appreciated. I'm a little confused by your question but it sounds like your having a set up and address problem. I would start by setting your feet apart the distance you prefer. The weight should be on the front of your arches. Then, after making your spine bend allow the hands to hang down from your shoulders.

 

Once you have a club in your hand check the distance from the butt of your club to your belt buckle. You should be able to fit one fist in between them, and that is about the right distance the hands should be in (give or take an inch).

 

As far as pulling the ball goes, it is probably from you reaching out too much (if you are sure it is not from an over the top approach). This will cause your left arm to become disconnected from your body and lead to an over the top pull. You may want to try swinging your driver with a head cover under your left arm pit to keep the left arm connected.
