Weser old school blades

I picked up this set of 2-sw old school blades last week, because the price was good, they look cool, and from what I've been able to find, Emil Weser is a really interesting guy ( and the reason the PGA Tour has qualifiers ). I've searched this forum, and come up with exactly zero mentions of the maker, or the clubs, though. I would be curious to know the hosel diameter and even approximate age, if anyone has any idea. I'm not sure I'm going to keep the Dynamic Golds in them. Heck, if you know anything, spill it. Check out that topline.

If I recall correctly, these heads- and others like them- were available from Dynacraft components in the 70's and 80's. Good quality heads with chrome or brushed finishes. The round disc is custom-made for you for your clubmaking business or whatever. It added a nice personal touch and gave the clubs a more professional look.

I worked at Grayhawk in Scottsdale for a winter and my roommates and I came across this store in paradise valley, Weser’s Pro Shop. We talked with Mr Weser a couple of times and his store was fabulous to walk around. He was good friends with Ben Hogan and he told great stories.

Look to be wilson tour blade copies. Great looking set.

Emil Weser was my Grandfather. He was an amazing man. He did win the lawsuit against the PGA to have Monday opens for non members to qualify in Tournaments. Ben Hogan was a great friend of his and came out of retirement to play the fist game at his First Golfing Green in Chicago. Grandpa was 6'9 and the tallest professional Golfer to date. His store in paradise Valley was a labor of love for him, he made his own golf clubs and taught many people to love the Game. I hope the set you picked up came from his hands. It warms my heart  to know his love of the game is still thriving. thank you for remembering him 🙂 They don't make them like grandpa anymore.
