Anybody up to play some golf in the next couple of weeks?

Heys guys, my brother is coming in to town on Feb 6th and we're gonna play some golf, just seeing if anyone wants to play with us so we can book some tee times as a 4some. Here's our schedule:

 

 

Mon Feb 8th- 18 @ Southern Dunes and 18 @ The Duke. Might play the Duke 1st then head over to SOuthern Dunes for an afternoon round.

 

Tue Feb 9th- [email protected] Ahwatukee Country Club then 18 @ Club West in the afternoon

 

Wed Feb 10th- 18 @ TPC Champions course. One_Putt might join us on this round, so might only have one spot open.

 

 

I get discounted rates at ahwatukee, club west, and the duke if you guys are interested. I believe Ahwatukee and Club West are $32.50 and The Duke is like $39. TPC is $43 to walk.

 

 

 

 

Also, if anyone wants to play Club West this week, Im gonna make a tee time tomorrow for Tuesday, Feb 2nd at around 8-830. Let me know!

that should be cool Jay. Ive made all the tuesday tee times already, just waiting for a good deal to pop up on Southern Dunes, and waiting to see f the Duke will be open. I guess the front nine has been flooded since that last heavy rain storm we got.


Tom, do you know how far in advance you can book teh TPC tee times for that rate?

Agh if only I didnt live in tucson and didnt have work. BTW The Champ course is no slouch. Either in height or difficulty. Enjoy your rounds. May have to make the trip up there again sometime soon

Mark got your text, TPC should work just fine for me. I think champions course is a bit higher now but its somewhere in the 44-50$ range

Not sure about that. Their rate schedule and web site in general is a mess. They don't promote the walking rate and the online reservation system only shows the cart rate. I think you can book the time and then when you check in tell them you are walking, but might be better to call.

I was thinking I might be able to join you but I would have to wait until it got closer to February to commit, then I realized IT IS ALREADY FEBRUARY. Holy cow!

Ive booked TPC Champ online in the past just ignore the rate as they dont charge the CC, when you check in just tell them your walking and they charge you the walking rate. I believe you can book 7 days in advance.

Mark, anything going on this thursday? I gotta drop the woman off at the airport at 7, dont really want to turn around and go back home if I am up would rather go play golf. Shot me a text and let me know

Matt, I booked the tee time already over the phone, they said the walking rate went up to $49, but still a solid deal. So I booked it for a 3some for 8:18. I just need at least 48 hours to cancel if you cant make it. And I dont think I can make it on Thursay, Ive got a paper to write and a math final to study for before my brother gets in to town, so Ive got to lay low this week.

We have tee times scheduled for Monday at 9:11 @ southern dunes, and then wed @ 8:18 at tpc champions course. you should try to make it to one of those!

There are still 2 open spots at southern dunes, and at TPC, I reserved a 3some, so you might be able to get it there too!

I made a tee time for 8 AM on tuesday at club west, but for a 2some. l'll call first thing in the morning and make it for a 4some just in case we can get a 4th to join up. Does 8:08 work for everyone? If you guys want to, we can get out a tad earlier and most likely be the first group on the course. I'd much rather play early than later. Ive got the whole day to play, I'll prob play 36. 18 at club west, 18 at Ahwatukee.

Dont buy any range balls if you guys beat me there, Ive got cards for free range balls. I think the guest rate should be $42.50, golfnow has it for $59.

How is the condition of Club West now? I haven't played there since it was taken over by Ahwatukee CC. And are they still planning on closing it for the summer?

The course condition at Club West was good, I just couldn't make a putt and my driver left me on a few holes. Not sure about closing this summmer, Mark can probably speak to that.
