Another unprecedented giveaway for the members here on WRX. Thanks to Miyazaki we are pleased to giveaway 4 prototype shafts.

To ENTER you have to post in this thread which one and why you would like to game one of these shafts. I might not randomize this one. Please read the suggested style for entry below*******.

********Here are the (4) shafts we will giveaway. I will work with the winners to determine which goes to whom. It would help if you picked the one you want in the entry. ie- "I would like to game the 77x V3 beacause I need a lower launch and ball flight... etc."

-----------------------------------------------

Miyazaki Kusala Black 77X V3 – This is the stiffest tip shaft in the Miyazaki family (built off of the Miyazaki Black Chassis) and probably one of the stiffest tipped shafts ever created. The weight of this shaft is half way between the 72 and 83 series Miyazaki Kusala offerings. This shaft is geared toward creating an extra low trajectory with a very tip stable feel for the game's strongest players. The International Flex Code for bending for the Black 77X - V3 is 5699+ vs. 5689 on the X flex model offered in the aftermarket. This Black V3 shaft is currently played and tested on Tour by Charles Howell III.

Miyazaki Kusala Black 66X V2– This is a slightly softer tip version of the aftermarket Miyazaki black in which the bending flex code is modified to 5667. This shaft will produce a low-mid trajectory for X flex players that do not want to have a super boardy feel in the tip. This shaft's weight is half way between the Black 61 and Black 72.

Miyazaki Kusala Blue 77X – This weight is between the 72 and 83 X models offered in the aftermarket. The Kusala Blue series is geared toward a mid-trajectory with superior feel and unmatched consistency. The blue series is the most played Miyazaki Kusala model on Tour and was used by Jerry Kelly to win the Zurich Classic of New Orleans in 2009.

Miyazaki Kusala Silver 66X – The Silver 66X is between the 61 and 72 series silver shafts in terms of torsional properties and weight. The silver series is geared toward a mid-high trajectory. This is accomplished by increasing the butt stiffness of the shaft while reducing the bending stiffness of the tip section. The International flex code for bending on the Silver 66X is 8755. This shaft is preferred by players looking for a higher trajectory ball flight without sacrificing stability.

---------------------------------

Here are the actual Shafts i will send to the winners!!! Good Luck WRX!

I would love a chance to play the Miyazaki Kusala Blue 77X.

For the last 3 years I have played a Diamana BlueBoard 73x in my driver.
I would love to give another brand a chance to knock the diamana out of the bag for good and I have heard nothing but good things about this brand here at golfwrx!

Thanks to golfwrx and Miyazaki for the awesome giveaway!

I prefer a low/mid launch but don't have the high swing speeds at all times that the heavy low launch/low spin shaft require.

The Miyazaki Kusala Blue 77X has looked very promising and I would love a chance to try it out in my driver.

Thanks golfwrx!!!

I'm super psyched to try the miyazaki 77X V3. It's on my order list right now, but getting it free makes everything better. I'm a super high launch and spin player looking for something to simmer down the launch angle. Can't wait to try it. Thanks Golfwrx.

Miyazaki Kusala Black 77X V3 would be the shaft of choice for me. I grew up playing persimmon woods, and have a swing style called loop shift. This is a hard driving legs type swing, and I have a steep angle of attack, while holding the angle a long time. I put a lot of spin on the ball, and I dont swing "up" on the ball. This shaft would be perfect for me, and enable me to quite possibly have some roll once again. Thank you for the opportunity to win this shaft.

I think the Miyazaki Kusala Black 66X V2 sounds like a perfect fit for my game. I have played a Blueboard 83x for a year now and need something alittle less spinny, this sounds like it would fit the bill.

I'd love to game the Miyazaki Kusala Silver 66X. Distance is my biggest weakness on the course. I play to 5.3 right now but the fact that I'm a short (5'5") and skinny, I just can't generate the clubhead speed I need to get the ball as high as I'd like it. I think this shaft will help that. I've never won a contest here nor do I have access to premium shafts, let alone tour only. Thanks again for the oppurtunity to win.

I pride myself on knowing what the latest and greatest shafts are...and testing quiet a few. I had heard about Miyazaki shafts in passing, but until I read this thread I had never gave them a closer look. Maybe I thought they were only for the tour guys and my simple 100-105 mph swing speed couldn't handle one.

I'm also a fairly low ball hitter with my driver and need shafts with a little more kick to promote a higher ball flight. I've used the Mitsubishi Diamana Redboard, the Oban Revenge, and a Matrix Altus and they are all great. But after looking at the Miyazaki prototype shaft specs in this thread, I was very happy to see that the Miyazaki Kusala Silver 66X profile looks like it would fit me perfectly.

I also have a new Adams Speedline Classic head sitting here waiting for the perfect shaft. I was getting ready to drop a Diamana Red 73-X into it, but the Miyazaki looks like it would compare very nicely. If I'm lucky enough to win this shaft, I can also offer a detailed and fair comparison to other premium graphite shafts with some of the same characteristics.

Finally, these have to be the nicest looking shafts I've ever seen and the company's philosophy in design is one I think other golf manufactures can learn from. They see the movement of the golf swing as the most artistic in all of sports, and look at the shaft as a canvass to experss themselves artistically. I also think it's great to see them use unknown artists, like the one who created the three stages of water design on these shafts. My swing may never turn water to steam then ice, but I can try to play as pretty as possible if I have one of these pieces of art in my hands.

thanks for another great giveaway GolfWRX!

I would like to game the Miyazaki Kusala Black 77X V3. I really should be using the stiffest/lowest trajectory shaft I can find if I am going to be playing a retail head. Due to my struggles, i have resorted to a 6.5 degree low launching head. I have been unable to find a retail driver with a shaft that will give me the right trajectory. Most simply go sky high with almost 20 degree launch angle and land with no roll. This shaft would enable me to go back to a retail head that provides more forgiveness but at the same time keep my ballflight down, which would really help out my game and really enable me to swing the club the way I wish.

I am torn between the blue and the silver. I really need something that launches higher to go in my 07 Burner TP Tour head.

I have always been a Mitsu Blueboard guy and my tour buddies are all telling me that the Miya Blue is where it is at.

I would love to win the Miya Blue 77x Richard, I am very curious to see if the performance will live up to the hype.

Thanks again Richard, you continue to up the ante with giveaways here at GolfWRX.

Miyazaki Kusala Black 66X V2 seems to be a very good fit for my swing. I have trouble releasing the clubhead, but swing between 105-112 MPH. It's hard to find a shaft that doesn't feel boardy, yet still has a softer tip for me to catch up too. I struggle hitting a hard draw, and rely on a baby fade that doesn't roll out alot. With a shaft that has a softer tip, I'd be able to turn the ball over a little easier, and not fear the left.

Thanks

Chester
