I use it in my Hi-Bore. It made it very easy to get the ball up. It's a great, but underrated shaft.

This shaft in my TM V-Steel is awesome. Very smooth and great feeling. A very underrated shaft and good as any higher end shaft on the market. I give it a two thumbs up!!

2 weeks now with an 85-S in my 3 wood and I'm loving it. Really addictive smooth feel that gets the ball up very nice, the shaft responds well to both smooth passes and those extra hard swings to get max distance. I occasionally have difficulty fighting a hook with all of my woods, I've hit a couple snappers on the range but the fairly neutral Mizuno F-50 3-wood head coupled with this shaft is giving me the best combination of distance an accuracy that I've experienced in a FW wood.

This shaft in my TM V-Steel is awesome. Very smooth and great feeling. A very underrated shaft and good as any higher end shaft on the market. I give it a two thumbs up!!

Debating on this shaft or the YS6+ to put in my R7st 3 &5w... Driver swing speed around 105+ and like the combo of FT3 and Aldila NVS.... I know that the R7st's launch the ball higher than the V Steels, so I'm a little leery of playing a similar profile shaft in the 3 and 5 wood as the driver... any advice?

i heard this is a extremely stiff shaft so i picked up an 55g X for bang head i had laying around

after a few uses, it felt like an NV to me, the kickpoint was mid and i dont like that

might be better for woods

I have a 55s in a SMT db455. I got it at the end of the season and I like it. I have not been able to find these anymore. What would be a replacement shaft that I might want to try? I like the flight off of this. I just like to try other things. I use to use a proforce 65. Low ball flight, but still long.

Probably a Pershing if you want to stay with GD. I just realized I posted to this in 2006. I had forgotten I had a HiBore!
