Best golf specific fitness book?

recommendations please

I try to stay reasonably fit but have never tailored my workouts to golf specific muscle groups. For cardio I run or use a rowing machine and my weight training consists of the same free weight exercises (bench, dumbells, push-ups, sit-ups, etc.) that I used when playing college football almost 20 years ago. I've grown to detest training at public facilities so whatever I do will have to be with free weights at home (maybe a Bowflex soon but I haven't pulled the trigger yet). I generally stay away from using really heavy weights and shorter reps because at this point muscle endurance and maintaining or losing weight is a priority over strength and bulk gains. I really need assistance/guidance with developing a beneficial stretching routine, what exercises work best for the golf swing, and what exercises to limit or stay away from. Over the last few years I've noticed that when I'm diligent about my weight training my golf swing gets tighter, my turn is limited and I lose distance and the ability to swing as smooth as I'd like.

I was hoping some of you could recommend a really good, comprehensive book on this subject because I know I will not seek out a golf specific fitness instructor to visit personally.

Not a book but the DVD of titleist performance institute are useful , TPI has a personalized program MyTPI but I didn't used it

Thanks hksaikung, that Golf Fitness Academy 2005 DVD might be useful but I don't remember seeing any of the 10 episodes on the Golf Channel, is that the DVD that you found helpful?
